Hey, -

Ev here. I read that before, too, some years back. And I get them

periodically. I refuse to worry about it; my ex-primary care dr. went all

theatrical on me (not about my nails) because I'm an ex-smoker (only 5 years

at the time) and my dad, also a smoker, died of a heart attack at 42.

GASP!!!!

She was CONVINCED I HAD to have coronary arterial plaque because of these

factors, so she sent me in for a heart MRI.

Guess what?

Nothing! nada, zip zero zilch.

ly, I'm unconvinced that they aren't exactly what they look like - some

foreign substance that has insinuated itself under the nail and is working

its way out. Doesn't hurt, my heart hasn't stopped my jogging - I simply

won't give any bleak outlooks any energy.

Just continue to do what you're doing - researching more ways to improve

your health. The rest? Fuggedabowdit!

(That's my opinion, and - unless and until I'm persuaded otherwise - I'm

stickin' to it)!

Ev
