Guest guest
Hello , This time of year is a bear to keep your skin moisturized but as you continue Bee's healthy diet and supplement plan you will see your skin improve. My skin was terribly dry and itchy when I began Bee's program. With Bee's help, I started seeing improvements in my skin after about 3 months on her program. What a relief! The key for me was I had to make sure I had all the supplements Bee recommends in balance. With Bee's help we discovered I wasn't getting enough Vitamin A. Within a month after increasing vitamin A, my skin was much improved, and didn't itch any more from being so dry. I found improvement as I increased the fats in my diet, using fitday.com (to keep my fat, protien and carb ratios in balance) and using Carlson's Cod Liver Oil to be very important for the health of my skin too.(Carlson's was more affordable for me on vitacost.com, but any of the good brands Bee recommends will do) Here's the link to her Essential Supplements List: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp6.php For more ideas for natural skin products go to Bee's site here: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/index.php Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Mountain Rose Herbs ad. Guest guest
Dry Skin? Reach for a Potato! If this winter¢s crazy weather is leaving you with dry skin, reach for the potatoes.Grate 1 or 2 small potatoes and soak them in olive oil for twenty minutes. Place the potato/oil mixture on your dry hands, and leave it on for at least 10 minutes. Then rinse your hands to clean them of the potatoes.Need the potatoes for dinner?Try drinking 2 tablespoons of pure almond ok that¢s been mixed with a cup of warm milk. The calcium and vitamin E that you¢ll absorb should help moisten the skin, and some believe it also helps keep coughs and colds at bay.Don¢t like milk? Drink lots of water and clear fluids. Even though the cold weather may not motivate you to drink cold water, water is key to maintaining good health both on the inside and out, all four seasons of the year.
