Guest guest
Candace, I am a Naturopath in live west of Monticello... so yes we are out there. I am not an ND however so it depends on what you are looking for. You are getting some great info here and I hope that you find what works for you very soon. Feel free to contace me anytime. Also, please remember that the quality of what you are eating drinking and supplementing is very important. Try to go all organic and entirely cut out anything artificial. Eat your food as close to nature (minimally processed) as you can. There are so many things now that are lurking in our food and just because it says " natural " on the label means absolultely nothing. Kelvin, some very good info for Candace. > Candace, question.. do you have a naturalpath anywhere near you? I would seeking them out for a second and even third opinion to the dr and surgery. Have they checked your liver also? I'd be curious to know how it is functioning along with your gall bladder. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Suzi > List Owner > http://health. groups.. com/group/ HAWK_Health_ Awareness/ > > http://360.. com/suziesgoats > What is a weed? Guest guest
Shari, Depends totally on where you took your classes which in my case was Herbal Healer Academy. I am a Naturopath. I can advise people on what I would do to live a healthy life. I can not diagnose or prescribe to a client. I am not a licensed Doctor. There is a line and I am very careful not to cross it. It's a tricky thing. Just because they went through a program somewhere does not make them an ND or license them to work with clients. I have researched this for years and the info is at best confusing and misleading. It's all in the wording. Also makes a difference what State you live and work in. Minnesota and Wisconsin do not require licensing for Naturopaths so as long as I do only what the law allows I don't need the license. Should they change that then I would have to go back to school to complete an accredited ND program somewhere even to just call myself Naturopath. Hope this helps answer your questions. > > " I am a Naturopath ........ I am not an ND .................. " > > How can you be a Naturopath and not be an ND? I understand you not being an MD, but aren't you automatically an ND when you graduate with a degree in Naturopathy? > > Shari >
