It's the uninformed speaking to the uneducated that really chip away at our rights and freedoms. The following quote appears at the end of this article from LA Times: It's a crazy bind, says State University of New York's Arthur Grollman, who has called on Congress to further tighten regulation of supplements. " With the FDA, it's all about the risk-benefit ratio. And with supplements, as best we can tell, there is not a single supplement shown to have a significant beneficial effect on humans, " says Grollman. " But if you don't know the benefit, you don't have a ratio.
