I read the article. What it is really saying is that cola addicts

should take potassium with their cola so they can drink ten quarts a

day without ill effect.

Most cola-colored soft drinks have phosphoric acid in them, which does, indeed, contribute to calcium motility (taking it out of the bones).

But seriously - you think someone who drinks upwards of a half gallon of cola a day is going to read a report about the ill effects of such a practice?!?

Ahhh, well- couldn't hurt, might help.

I used to LIVE on Dr. Pepper until I found out that bit of info. Quit that day, haven't so much as tasted it since (over 8 years ago).

So, yeah, I guess it's true - you never know when something is going to hit home and wake someone up.
