Had an elderly person ask if there was anything he could do to reverse his hip degeneration. I said sure, lots of things, and we had a talk about the relationship of diet to ph levels and such. However, he walked away willing to try the lemon egg trick. That's when you drop a whole egg in fresh squeezed lemon juice and let it sit in the fridge for a few days while the acid pulls the calcium out of the shell. Pull out the soft egg and eat the white residue that's in the bottom of the jar. That stuff is full of calcium and mangnesium supposingly at the right ratio that your body needs in a bioavailable form, unlike the cheap Ca supplements at WallyWorld. Within a few days the person's pain was severly reduced, and after a week their "stuck" shoulder loosened up. He's pretty forgetful so he takes it a few days then forgets until his hip starts bothering him again

and then he goes back on. Pretty amazing how well he's responding to the supplemention. Coincidencly, about a week into the project his wife got a Swanson's health products catalog in the mail. Right at the front was a new super supplement, egg shell membrane. Someone did a study demonstrating that x percentage of people with problems y had a z percentage improvement in their condition. They sold their stuff for $19.99 for 30 capsules. Hmmm, and how much did those lemons and eggs cost? Not that I'm against manufactured supplements if that's one's things but we can make a lot of healthgiving natural remedy for $20 and even that is FAR cheaper than going to the MD. Thought you all would like to hear about that. ------------------------------------

So do I need to having multiple eggs going to eat what's at the bottom of one jar everyday? Or is it like a tablespoon a day or???? Dosage? And until pain is gone and then a maintenance dose?

Thanks, Shari

He's doing a spoonful (teaspoon at that) a day. At home I do it sporadically

but if I had something going on (which you mentioned) I'ld have two small jars

going offset by a few days.

Hi Prayerfulmantis,

Can you give us more specifics please? How many eggs and do I just cover the eggs with fresh lemon juice, nothing else? Is a "few days" 3 or am I looking for something to happen? Is the white residue in the bottom to be "eaten" by itself and all at once, or do I take a tablespoon a day, etc.? How long does this stuff last in the fridge? Thanks for the help with this! I am anxious to try this. By the way, why not just do this process with egg shells? Just wondering. Thanks again.

Peace on earth.

Cheryl,

from the files Natural health remediesNatural Organic Calcium

Take as many fresh organic chicken eggs as will fit into the bottom of a large

glass jar or stainless steel cooking pan. Make sure that they are clean and

free of cracks. Place into bottom of jar and add as much freshly squeezed

organic lemon juice (you can strain it first if you wish) as will cover the

eggs and then some (maybe an inch or two). Cover this jar and place into

your refrigerator for 48 hours. Periodically during this time you will need

to very gently agitate or stir the lemon juice to keep it mixed up. After the

48 hours very carefully remove the eggs without breaking them. The calcium

will have leached out of the shell of the egg leaving only the membrane. You

can now bottle this drink and keep refrigerated. Take 1 tablespoonful per day or

as needed. As for the eggs, well they are great raw, or if you feel you need to

cook them then they are good that way too. But best would be raw as that way you

get all of the good nutrients while they are still alive.

This is a great way to get Calcium and Magnesium in the body.

Inorganic calcium does not really absorb well and doesn’t do much good for

degenerative diseases.

We take a shot-glass size dose daily of the shaken liquid.

We even tried making it with Total Tonic once instead of Vinegar. It worked, but took almost twice as long to pull off the shell. And it tasted extremely yucky!

Peace, love, laughter

Cheryl,When we make it, we usually usually use lemon juice, but have used vinegar and Total Tonic as well. Depends on what we have, though lemon juice is best.We put three eggs in a jar, and just enough liquid to cover them. Seal tightly and put in the fridge, lightly agitate a couple of times a day. I've found that it takes usually longer than three days, but no set time. Just when you notice that the shell is off and only the egg with the membrane is left and the bottom of the jar is layered in tiny shell particles.Gently remove the egg. It can be eaten, but has a weird taste. Shake the liquid and take anywhere from a tsp to 1/2 oz at a time, once daily.I don't know how long it will keep. We've never had a single batch last long enough to find out.Hope this helps.Peace, love, laughterHi Prayerfulmantis, Can you give us more specifics please?
