Sending prayers & happy thoughts, Beth :-) my news Just coming out of a drug induced euphoria and wanted to let everyone know today went GREAT! All was clean and I dont have to return for another screening for 3 Years. I am so excited and relieved. Thanks to all who said a prayer for me!!!!! First things... economy as it is.. my DH has not worked in the last 4 months or better, due to no construction going on in the housing industry... and people just not having the money to do things they want to or need to have done. ... We are in the process of trying to sell our home due to this, and yes, i'm having to give up my livestock.. my goats and sheep have gone to a good home.. my donkey has a home he will be going to ... but my poor livestock dogs haven't found a home yet.. 2 of them have to go as a pair and my Tess is almost 10 so she just needs a place to relax. (but it's lonely here) If anyone is close to Waterloo, IL... and had fenced in acreage with any kind of livestock I have a male and female team who are really good at their job. I can't take them with me as it would not be fair to them and they would be unhappy not being able to run at all. Still have the chickens but that won't be hard (I hope) We have some possibilities of buyers.. (so say your prayers cause I can't keep up the way it is much longer) We will be relocating to the campgrounds - Bill was offered a job..(thank God as he was really getting depressed) it.doesn't pay much but the fringes include free site/propane/elect and gas... so that adds up. I'll still work as long as we have any work (i'm in commercial construction)... First time in 22 yrs I've seen this company lay off any office personnel... but we are across the country.. had 1 here and we may not be done if work doesn't pick up. And then I'll be out too. Anyway, this move interesting enough was something we wanted to do in about 10 years. (I had it all planned out).. but it came sooner... guess God had another plan in mind for us. I'm trying to "downsize" a house to a camper... I didn't know I had so much stuff... We can't take our furniture as the camper is furnished.. Once we get the house sold and all the bills paid, we're hoping to have enough left over to buy a bigger camper since we'll be living in it all the time and not just weekends. To top this off, I am going in for surgery tomorrow... I've been fighting my problem for about a month and 1/2 now.. I have to have the ulnar nerve in the arm repositioned as it is causing me LOTS of pain- either throbbing, stabbing, aching or the good one the tingling.. from the elbow to the tips of the little and pinkie fingers.. and the fingers are getting more numb as the days go by... My chiro worked on it for almost a month.. but nothing really helped.. He said well, we gave it a try... herbs, accupunc, massage, ultrasound, etc. it's time to see the neurosurgeon... I went back to the dr who did my neck.. He did a nerve conduction test and yep, it has to be moved.. apparently this is more common than I realized... so I don't know how long I'll be down or unable to type... I should have one hand good to go.. I'll keep you posted... If I can't type, I'll just post something I have in the draft files... so you'll at least know I'm alive.. lol.
