here's a good tip shared by Cecily Dawson about natural egg coloring:To get the following colors, here's what you needto do (with the kids, of course)... pale red--soak in cranberry or raspberry juice red/lavender--boil the eggs with the skins fromred onions orange--as above but with yellow onion skins pale yellow--soak with orange or lemon peal,carrot tops, celery seed or ground cumin yellow--ground turmeric green--spinach leaves, lemon-lime jello/kool-aid or granny smith applepeel blue--blueberries, iceblue (who knew) kool-aid brown--coffee pink--beet juice, cranberries violet--soak overnight with violet blossoms lavender--grape juiceSo

break out the kids and the eggs this weekend andcolor up a natural storm, even if it's not Easter.
