Guest guest
Hi Mimianne, My arthritis is controlled by Zithromax 600 mgs a day. I was on other abx for about 2 months for other things and I got so sick and the pain was so bad I couldn't stand it. Restarted Z last Thursday, did give myself boost, took an extra one every other day. What a difference in the joint and muscle pain. I can actually live with it. It is an inflammatory type of arthritis, as opposed to osteoarthritis, which is sometimes called degenerative arthritis. Did your doctor give you any details, or prescribe you any medications? Do you have psoriasis? Psoriatic arthritis is commonly accompanied by psoriasis, although in some cases there isn't any psoriasis. I also started an herbal program for myself which includes calcium, magnesium, and msm plus a high potency vitamin & mineral supp. , plus time release vit c....I got another week on the anti-inflam.'s , then I will continue on the herbs to see what develops...ellen actually I had the psorisis for years before I got an xray , which shows degenerative arthritis in my toe.. We don't chew enough, so the saliva does not break down anything, then the stomach isn't acid enough (more on that later), so the food passes to the small intestine where ABSORBTION of nutrition should be taking place. The pancreas can't break all that mess down, because it's totally exhausted in producing enzymes to metabolize protein and sugars. The pancreas does a number of things, not just insulin, it also produces MEGA enzymes that break down PROTEINS. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE DYING OF TUMOR OVERLOAD. Is this picture clear yet? This is an ideal way to stimulate the body's NATURAL self-healing ability. Clean blood, free of bacteria/virus/parasites, that can carry nutrition, comes from a worry free, anger free liver (the liver is the organ of anger and toxin removal). The liver's primary source of nutrition comes from the small intestine's digestive products. Send down toxins to the liver, and it's clear...... a toxic liver is for you. How in the world can it produce healthy blood? Simplify your life. 1. Chew your food thoroughly. 2. Be happy when you eat so the body can produce enzymes to digest the food. Research has SHOWN that being unhappy causes LESS digestion to occur. 3. Don't mix up protein, carbs and fats all in one meal. 4. Reduce stress that eats up mineral stores in the body. This is the number one health issue today, after a toxic environment. 5. Supplement simply with magnesium (stress, nerves, proper bowel function, produces over 300 enzymes), sodium (softener), and sulfur (MSM, slides the parasites right out). 6. Eat more whole foods rich in enzymes. (millet, whole brown rice, spirulina, amaranth) 7. Rest (sleep at night, one hour of sleep before midnight equals two of every hour after midnight) so the body can repair the damage that you did in the daytime. 8. Get some sunlight and play more. Guest guest
HI Robynn and everyone, I have success with Zithromax 600 mgs daily for my arthritis. Have had it for years. I have taken all kinds of NSAIDS over the years, but the Zithromax seems to keep the flares at a minumin, not like when I first got it. The other abx did not work for the arthritis but did help my lyme in the beginning. I have had lyme 7 years. Dr. L. the other nite on the audio talk said many people with lyme can control it with abx just like other diseases. Said he didn't know why, but it works with some. It works with me. I was off for a week for allergy testing. Thought I was going to kick the bucket. I would have it my foot hadn't hurt so bad. LOL. Also was off everything else for 3 days. I was allergic to so much my arms broke out in blisters. I am reading posts, thanks to all who post information. I sometimes don't have time to answer, but do enjoy all your information and comments. Please everyone hang in there, this disease is rotten but we can prevail, Hugs to all, Connie, MI
Guest guest
Dear Le, I am probably not the one to ask the questions of pertaining to RA as my diagnosis is scleroderma. There are many people with RA here on the list and I will post this answer to you in order that the RAers can see your concerns and perhaps answer them better than I can. 1. I have not read about the JMT method (the acupuncture) for cure. Perhaps someone here can advise you if they have tried this. 2. The theory with antibiotic protocol is that you more than likely will take some form of oral the rest of your life. At least with scleroderma, this is a fact for me. I hear that some of the RAers have been able to go off but more seem to feel that they are risking relapse should to completely go off and have decided to stay safe. 3. My doctor used a local laboratory here in Billings, Montana to draw, if I remember correctly, 19 vials of blood for all sorts of testing. All but one were sent to Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory, 63 Zillicoa Street, Asheville, North Carolina 28801-1074. The other test was read at Mayo Clinic but I don't recall which test that was. Blood samples were done for mycoplasms, chamydia, metals, allergens and candida to name a few. 4. Antibiotics will kill the friendly bacteria in your gut if you don't take care of it properly. I am proof of that. I was overzealous in watching out for that bacteria and overdid it. Am now doing my best to put the friendly bacteria back by using LOTS of probiotics, aloevera juice, slippery elm, olive leaf extract and a little colloidal silver. This is something to know about but the results from doing the antibiotic protocol far outweighs this challenge. I still feel that way. 5. For over a year and a half, I have followed Dr. Brown's protocol. I believe in that. I have seen too many people here on the support site who have gotten their entire lives back. You have to know it works. 6. I don't know of any other alternative therapy to kill mycoplasms. I have done some chelation, hydrogen peroxide iv and one DMPS. Because of my high mercury level, obviously, I am either goingn to probably have to do more chelations or DMPS which I hear can be pretty nasty. At least if you are only dealing with mycoplasms, the antibiotic protocol is not nasty stuff. Le, I hope this has been of help to you. I don't know in which country you are living but I wish you all the best God has to offer. Guest guest
I have had great luck with MSM. I have been on it for about a month. My pain level is lower and that makes me happier. I also take Glucosamine with chondroitin. I fell a few years ago and the glucosamine complex is the only thing that helped me...until you all on the list talked me into MSM. And AGAIN...I would like to thank you! I am taking 1000mg...going to bump it up to 1500mg. in split doses.

Guest guest
I think next time around I will try the powdered . I can mix it in water and make myself some lotion!
Guest guest
You are also able to dissolve the MSM in aloe vera gel to make a lotion to apply directly to the sore joint. I havn't tried this myself but I know it is cheaper to make it than to buy the lotion already made. But sometimes buying a good product that works is worthwhile.
