holy basil can be taken... however, i don't know about the EO... i would contact the company you got it from if it doesn't say on the bottle.

Does anyone know what the difference is between this and Holy Basil? Is it basically the same but just a different variety?

I have Holy Basil EO which smells wonderful. I am wondering if it is safe to take internally and as effective as the other.
