This is a recipe I got from a friend. I think it was Sylvia who sent me some herbs to make a tea with a while back. It worked so well. I still get warm but I'm not sweating with it and having to peel off my clothes two and three times a day to take a shower. I'm so much better now. This tea is pretty good too. The taste isn't quite what I care for but neither is the other tea. I think that as long as it works for what bothers me then I'm doing it. Anything is better than what I was going through before I started drinking the tea. Sylvia, you’re my hero for sending me those herbs. I'm always sure to remember you in my prayers for your kindness to me. I keep a nice blend of them in a container in one of my kitchen cabinets so I can have it ready for when ever I need it. I hope this will help someone here.

I know that when we were talking about the herbs for the hot flashes some time back there was one of us women who was saying that she drinks a very strong sage tea. This reminded me of her post. Sorry, I just can't remember who it was. She said it tasted awful, but it worked so well for her. Maybe this will be a nicer alternative for you to try. Enjoy ladies.

Try putting a drop peppermint or spearmint essential oil into your drinking water.

Or if you have the herb make peppermint tea just steap the herbs in cool water for a cool brew tea.

Cooling sage tea

Combine equal parts sage, blue vervain, and motherwort with 1/2 part peppermint or spearmint for flavor. Drink throughout the day as needed.
