Guest guest
NIH has a statement regarding calcium supplements that notes that calcium citrate does not interfere with iron absorption if the two are taken together or if the calcium and iron are also accompanied by Vit C at the same time. Do any of you have any other specific references that speak to this and are you telling your patients that calcium citrate and iron taken together does not interfere with absorption?
