Your sister will most certainly be in my thoughts, along with my "sister" (my best friend from high school) who will have a radical double mastectomy this coming Thursday.

The best thing I can think of for both these beautiful ladies is to look (very deeply) into Louise Hay's book, "You Can Heal Your Life".

In the meantime, I will be sending out thoughts for strength, peace, and awareness. For all of us.

Hello Everyone

As most of you know me, I am not one to make requests of this nature all that often, if ever. Our family learned this past week that one of my older sisters has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

From the bottom of our hearts, both myself and my family thank you so very much. Anything you would be able to do would be most appreciated.

Pearl,

Of course you will be in my prayers (and your sister).. Will she take any herbs? If you can get her to take essiac...it will also help the pain she may be having and from the chemo.. Had a friend that did that and it helped much.. but also cured the cancer...

Know you're in my thoughts an prayers.

Hello Everyone

As most of you know me, I am not one to make requests of this nature all that often, if ever. Our family learned this past week that one of my older sisters has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I am an OCN. That means I'm an Oncology Certified Nurse. (among a number of other certifications) At this point in time 's physical condition is not in the best of shape to take on a battle with chemo therapy. She will decide if she wants to go through with that on her own and we will all respect any decision she makes. This is a 57 year old woman who went from about 155 pounds down to 116 pounds. Towards the beginning of December she noticed she was quite ill and saw her doctor and he diagnosed her with pneumonia and was treated for that. When she failed to improve she underwent a PET scan and that was when the tumor was discovered. A biopsy was taken to

determine if the cancer had spread or not. We'll find out the results either later this week or next week.

All I am requesting from anyone who is able to do so, is to ask the Gods, The Powers That Be or who or whatever you know of your God to be, to please keep my sister as comfortable as possible during this process. If there is one thing that I (nor the rest of my family) could not bare and one thing that does not deserve, it is any more suffering in her life. In her 57 years in this life she has suffered far more than was her share, on many levels. She deserves to be comfortable even if it is just in her last months in this life here with us. Anything that any of you would be willing or able to do during this phase to help ease any suffering during this time would be most greatly appreciated by not only myself but my family as well.

From the bottom of our hearts, both myself and my family thank you so very much. Anything you would be able to do would be most appreciated.
