Guest guest
Dear Jeanne, You'd be fine having a whole avocado daily. It is very healthy and one of nature's super foods! I don't know if they would cause a person to gain weight, but they sure are healthy! Weight shouldn't be a concern when you are curing candida. Guest guest
Debbie, Migraines can be caused from different sources. Most common is grinding your teeth at night. Other causes can be simply eating very chewy foods, talking constantly or being rear-ended. All of these things irritate the Temporal Mandible Nerve. Treatments for this are easy and can be done at home. First go to a sporting good store and get a mouthpiece. It is usually only a dollar or two. Follow the instructions to drop it into hot water then place it into your mouth and bite down so it fits properly. Wear this every night to prevent teeth grinding. Second, cut your food or put it through a food processor so you can chew it well without chewing too much. Then watch your talking. It is ok to be quiet a few days until the pain subsides. Lastly do this easy stretch. Turn your head right, a quarter turn. Your chin over your breast, not all the way to your shoulder. Tip your head, letting it gently drop. Give a long stretch. Slowly return your head to normal, keeping it at the right quarter turn. Tip the back of your head back, toward your shoulder blade stretching your neck, giving it a long stretch. Lift your head, looking forward. Now look a quarter turn left and repeat this stretch for the other side. This stretch can be done several times a day. It relieves stress on the tendons and muscles supporting the general area around the nerve releasing pressure, giving it relief. Good luck with it. --nh From: " debbie schutz " <ron-schutz@...> Subject: Re: Re: Avocados I love Avocados but can any one tell me if that is what gives me a migraine r they a trigger for migrains thanks a heap debbie---
Guest guest
> > Are avocados okay? +++Hi there. May I request that you put more than one question in a message. We have so many messages on this group it makes it harder on me and my moderators to answer them. Yes you can have avocados, do a search for Candida Diet on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com (I can't access it right now to give you the link). Guest guest
> > For breakfast, my 8 1/2 year old son has a hard boiled egg, a whipped avocado and pureed string beans with a tablespoon of coconut oil. He has this 7 days a week. He would love to have another whipped avocado as a snack when he gets home for school. Would this be too many avocados? +++Hi Maureen. It could be too much for him, but experiment by giving him 1/4 avocado when he gets home from school, and see how he does. Bee
Guest guest
Avocados Health Benefits:The fact that avocados contain a good dose of heart-healthy mono- and polyunsaturated fats makes them unique among fruits. Avocados also contain oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat that may help lower cholesterol. Avocados are a good source of potassium. An adequate intake of potassium can help ward off high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. This fruit also is a good way to incorporate lutein, which helps eyesight and protects against breast cancer, in your diet. Preparation:Slice avocados just before using them so they won't discolor. If you need to cut them a bit a head of time, sprinkle the cut surfaces with lemon or lime juice. To slice them, first cut lengthwise around the seed. Twist the two halves apart in different directions, scoop out the pit with a spoon, and separate the flesh from the skin. Try 2 tablespoons mashed avocado or two to three thin slices instead of cream cheese or peanut butter on your favorite sandwich. Suzi List Owner health What is a weed? Guest guest
Do you prune them? I know to get better peaches, I used to remove one or two bitty fruits for every 3 the tree was setting. It gave the remainders more room to grow big and juicyfat! Yum! I miss my tree, and damn the borers, anyway... Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!" Guest guest
I haven’t so far, Evie. But that’s a good reminder. I’ll wait until they’re a bit bigger (right now they’re about pea-sized) and do it then. Sharyn From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of autumn3scorpio@... Do you prune them? Guest guest
I just wanted to add that I tried a half of avocado the other day in some scrambled eggs and it was delicious. I cooked it with the eggs with some sausage too. Just wanted to try it because I never had an avocado cooked. Yummy, Danny. > > > > > > > > Hi, I was wondering why the rule about cooking, doesn't apply to avocados? > > Hi there > > I thought I'd just say that I've had baked avocado before, with bacon, and it was YUMMY! > > Priya >
