Guest guest
These off-topic messages really bother me. I love the group and the relevant information. But it is a waste of time to read these messages. No matter how many times the listowner refers to OT4VAX (or whatever it is), I feel this forum is being abused when messages like this come across. There are other lists to talk about breastfeeding, child development, parenting, etc etc. Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T Re: Why? In a message dated 5/14/2008 8:23:45 A.M. Guest guest
Just in case you hadn't realized: your post is also off-topic making you just as guilty as the woman who did so in the first place Oh and speaking about it: so is mine. If it really bothers you that badly, maybe you could contact the owner/moderator directly? I am on 88 (yes, that is eighty-eight) , almost all on individual emails. I don't think anyone here gets the volume of email I do and I never mind a small aside, especially when it has to do with something happy a list member has had happen. BTW GranolaMama, congrats on your son rolling over!! Guest guest
-I will agree with that!!!! I have to admit I LOVE hearing about the small OT stuff from time to time not to mention how much I have learned from people like and Winnie so it just becomes natural to want to ask other stuff stemming from the whole vaccination issue. Guest guest
I know, it can be hard. But I do feel better and that's what keeps me going. I try to connect with people as people rather than thru food events . Hang in there... it helps me to know that I'm not alone and you all are moving along as well. Guest guest
And once you start trying to transition to this regimen you can't yo-yo back and forth.. unless you're a masochist and enjoy the pain. And you know.. maybe that's a characteristic of people who are more susceptible to candida imbalance issues? It's been said that Crohnie's (people diag-nonsensed w/Crohn's disease) are those who have a " should " mentality.. feeling like they should do this or that and feel bad about themselves cause they don't do as they think they should.. no matter what the issue. I would like to know why so many people seem to do fine on " regular " diets. I used to be one of those. I thought my stomach could handle anything. You could wonder the same about people who seem to do fine on raw or vegetarian or vegan diets. It has been documented that some (well it was at least one highly evolved saint) people live w/no food for years. Is it a matter of where different people evolved from? Is it a matter of the level of self consciousness? I would really like to know why myself.. but then would it really make any difference where I'm concerned? It's still just me and I'm the one who has to figure out what's going to work.. and perhaps that is as it *should* be. It's my lesson to learn.. as it is any/everyone else's per their situation. ??? > > Why some people can eat everything (pastries, chocolate, pizza, ice > cream all kind of carb etc... and don't have the problems that we > candida sufferers have? how they get away with eating this things? but > we don't? sometimes I ask myself for how long do I have to be on this > diet and not enjoying eating everything like other people do? Guest guest
Hi there, In all likelihood they have candida, too, but they just don't talk about it. Bee says that about 75-80% of the population has candida and judging from most people eat, you can see why. Guest guest
Yes, I understand what u mean. Socialising is the tough part. Having to sit around with friends while they eat all your favourite foods.... ARRGGGH!!! But I guess the question you're asking is similar to WHY do some people get cancer & others dont? My great grandpa smoked his pipe everyday, ate everything & lived to a ripe old age & didnt get cancer. My grandmother, never smoked in her life but got lung cancer & died. BTW, she's not related to my great grandpa. A friend of ours got a heart attack at 35 and then went into raw food. He's now 45, fit as hell & watches his diet strictly. I guess it's really up to us, no pt asking why. We all know our bodies best & we each have to do what we can to heal our bodies. Whether it is changing our diet, exercising or changing our lifestyle. On the one hand it probably has soemthing to do with their immune systems being extraordinarily strong. But that doesn't help much cause still why are our immune systems weak? I often try to investigate and find out what these lucky people have that makes them so healthy. I have found that many of them don't worry much. Worry is something that seems to suppress my immune system. I also do believe that if I had not gotten this sick I would have continued living in an unhealthy way, I may have been looking healthy to others, but then one day I'd run into a wall of ill health. By that point it might have been too late for me to do anything about it. Us who have been lucky enough to have found Bee's program, we have the time necessary to heal naturally. I think in many ways my illnesses have been a blessing as they warned me of the possible consequences my unhealthy lifestyle. I also think about how Eskimos are the happiest people in the world. I used to think candy, ice cream and pizza made me happy but now I know that's not at all the case since it comes with such a heavy price in health and is very short lived. Guest guest
I do think there's a missing component to this affliction. And I suppose when enough people including some doctors start suffering this, then they'll start researching it. A couple of my theories about why I can't over come this with years of trying different things are 1) Lyme disease or some inherited pathogen (because my mom had some very similar and specific symptoms and so does my son, 2) my personality type and how I handle stress, 3) having no tonsils. ( I tried to get a show of hands some time back to see how many of us, with years of getting sicker behind us, have actually had their tonsils out.) Obviously immune function is lagging but why is it progressive with some and not others. Guest guest
There are also genetic defects which probably play into it. There is one called MTHFR gene mutation. I understand that 20% of the population has two copies of that and they are not able to detoxify as well as those who don't have it or only have one copy. That might be why some people take so long to get to the point they can take all the supplements and antifungals, but I am only guessing. Obviously immune function is lagging but why is it > progressive with some and not others. +++Hi . Lyme's disease is caused by the body creating it in order to clean itself up of toxins. In other words you do not " catch " germs, viruses and bacteria, instead your own body creates them for a very good reason - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/germ12.php Second, inherited tendencies are caused by the " poor nutritional " status acquired upon conception from both parents. Dr. Price proved that inherited tendencies are not " set in stone " since " proper nutrition " changes/corrects DNA/genes. Third, I had my tonsils out when I was 19 years old but I still cured my candida. Bee

The good news is that DNA/genes are corrected with " proper nutrients " per Dr. Weston A. Price. Bee
