Thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers. I know that your problem is quite different from most of ours and sometimes I feel like I can't help you as much as I would like to. All I can do is keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

You hang in there. Thinking about you here in Virginia.

Lynn,

Thanks so much. I'm much better now. I was just exhausted and had pushed way

to hard with the move. I should have taken a few days off. I'm fine. Hope all

is well with you.

Hi a,

Thank you for the note. I had to cancel my appointment. The work is being

done

on May 27th. I have a nasty cold and I was afraid to have the work done not

feeling

well. The whole infection thing scares me. When I called the dentist agreed it

would not be a good idea to go ahead and do the work when I was sick.

Sounds like you are happy in your new home. I hope you are very happy. We

did

have a nasty winter this year. It was far too cold. I wish you much happiness

in

your new house. My brother has a house near Key West. I am not a warm weather

person so I would never go there.

I'll let you know how I make out on May 27th.

Lynn,

It¹s better to be safe than sorry. The infections scare me to and I¹d

rather be overcautious.

I love Key West to visit, but I¹d be afraid to live there since it takes so

long to get off the islands.

The medical care there is sparse. I don¹t think it gets as hot there as you

think since the ocean

breezes are so strong. Have you ever visited him? It may be a great place

to visit when your

winters are bad.

Hi a,

As I get closer to the dental day I think I really don't want to do this.

However, I don't have any choice. I have never had nice teeth, so it will be

nice

to be able to smile and not think about my terrible teeth. They tell me there

will

be no pain.

My brother and I are not close at all. I don't believe he ever liked me.

He

is older than I am. I think he has resented me since the day I was born. We

don't

fight or anything. He just doesn't speak to me. I remember when I was a child

being bothered by all this and trying to get him to speak to me. After awhile I

just gave up. I don't believe he wishes me anything bad, he just doesn't like

me.

So I accept it for what it is. So I will probably never be invited to his

house.

If I were to travel I would go north. I really prefer the cold or cool weather

areas. I would love to see the New England States. But that won't be possible

at

this time.

I hope you are feeling well. Any luck in finding good doctors? It has to

be

hard changing doctors. My primary doctor, I have been seeing since I was 15.

We

have a long history. Hope you are well. I'll let you know how the teeth turn

out.

That is to bad Lynn. Your brother doesn't realize the wonderful person he

is missing. I had a brother

Like that too. He would talk to me, but not very nice things came out of

his mouth and he got great joy

out of seeing how many bruises he could put on one arm. It turns out he was

very ill and I¹ve forgiven

him for his meanness. My little brother made up for it. He is a very

special brother that would do

anything for me (include drive my moving van 1200 miles away from him in

spite of the fact he hated to see me move away).

You just may get to see the New England states one day. You have a lot of

living left to do and you don¹t know

what tomorrow brings. The NE states are beautiful.

I found a primary doctor and she seems very nice. I am going to see a

rheumy at the Cleveland Clinic in June.

Finding a new rheumy doesn¹t bother me because I¹d like to get some new

input and ideas for treatment.

Enbrel helps, but not enough. You¹re lucky to have a long relationship with

a doctor. I¹ve never needed

a primary very much because except for RA, I rarely get sick, not even with

colds etc. My rheumy has

always been my primary.

Good luck with your teeth. It will be worth it when you have that big

beautiful smile :)

Hi a,

I don't let my brother bother me. I think what happen was my Dad was away

fighting in the war and it was just my mom and brother. Well along comes my dad

back, someone couldn't remember. On top of that he gets a sibling who had

to

turn out to be a girl. I'm sure his world was turned up side down. On top of

all

that I have been told my grandparents were very happy they had a granddaughter.

I

don't remember any of that, all I know is my grandmother was wonderful and we

were

good friends. Anyway I have so much more to worry about than him. I don't

think he

wishes me any ill, he just doesn't like me. That's okay my younger brother and

I

are so close it makes up for a lot. He was with me through both surgeries. He

only

has a short time to live. He had a heart transplant and it is not working

right.

So his time is limited. I can't imagine my life without him. But time is short

for

him. He will have a heart attack and die.

I'm sorry your brother was mean to you. But if he was ill that says a lot.

You

forgive him and that is what is important.

I am getting ready for Thursday. They tell me it will only take a 1/2 hour.

We

will see. I will feel awful if I go through this and the teeth don't look good.

Do you think you will continue on in school, living in Florida? I hope you

can,

it is rewarding going back to school.

Hope you are well and able to enjoy your new home.

Love Lynn

Tess,

I am so glad things are going well for you. Not only did my DIL have

the surgery but so did her mother. She lost about 125 pounds, she looks

wonderful. It took them both a year which is not bad at all. I don't plan

on going without my teeth either, I keep them in at night also. The dentist

told me it will take 2 months to get use to them. That is okay I am already

glad I did this, not that I had a choice I didn't. My teeth were really

bad. They just look nicer than the old ones.

Dear Althea,

Thank you for your note and prayers. I try not to cry just think of

all the wonderful memories he left with me. He was very special. Hope you

are feeling okay. My RA has been terrible but maybe it is all the stress.

I called my insurance company yesterday to find out about remicade. Found

out they won't cover it for me. My insurance only pays for generic drugs.

Guess I wasn't meant to have it. Thanks,

Lynn

Thank you so much for your support and congradulations on

today. I'm so happy for you and to hear that you have your husband

there taking care of you. I was going through a really bad divorce

when my symptoms started so everyone just kept telling me it was

stress. I sat in many dr offices crying while waiting for them to

come in because I just felt so sick and couldn't understand what was

happening to me. When I started losing my hair and getting a

chronic dry mouth/soar throat I started researching like crazy like

you did. I started eating an 80% raw diet and drinking green

smoothies. I figured nothing else worked and as it turns out it was

my saving grace because it brought me here. I was on a raw food

website and saw a pamphlet written by a raw food dr and it said

something about saline implants and illness. I couldn't get anymore

information on it so I just put it in and got to implantsout

and than here. I've been a such a rollercoaster of feelings since

last night. I was so excited I already told everyone what was wrong

with me, I couldn't wait to finally say this is it! I'm sick, I

have a real problem! Than I was sad because I have had the implants

for four years, what is it going to be like to go back to a minus A

cup. Of course I felt guilty to even care about it that but I did.

I felt like I was going to be losing something and than latter today

it all changed. I thought about all the horrible things that were

happening to me and what it will be like to have relief of it, to

feel something besides sick, all the things that I can do again. I

can imagine having my life back and being happy even without them.

It's been as they say one of the best and worst days of my life,

ending as the best. It's so encouraging to hear everyones support I

just cried and cried with relief. I already have an appointment on

Monday with DR. Copland in NYC. She had a cancellation,

has anyone been to her? How did she get on the list here? Thank

you all again and I hope you have a comfortable night.

Thank you for listening,

Lynn

Lynn,

I'm so glad you found us! You're moving at lightning

speed! . . . When you see the plastic surgeon, please

be emphatic that you want an " en bloc " explant. Since

she's on the list, it's likely one of our ladies saw

her and was properly explanted. . .

There will likely be more ahead as you detox . . . If

you'll read up on systemic yeast/fungus/Candidia

problems . . " The Yeast Connection " is a good book . .

.. you'll understand better what's involved. It seems

that, for whatever reason, these problems are very

common among women who have had implants.

In the meantime, drink plenty of non-chlorinated

water, get sufficient sleep, and try to keep stress

and anger under control. I know it's tough! . . . But

your health is more important!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

Lynn

thank you so much for pouring your heart out - I cried too when I

read your post. I had the same feelings, both of relief and regret.

For years I tried so many different things - no bleached flour, raw

vegies, nothing would help. Sometimes people ask me, " so what is

wrong with you anyway? " It really is heartbreaking when I hear

someone new come on and tell their story, but it also confirms that

the implants were the cause, and that strengthens me.

Hugs and prayers to you,

Cherie

Hi Cherie,

It was nice to pour my heart out because I really needed to. I

got a surprise today when I received a call from Dr Kolb. I was

shocked she would call me on a Saturday to talk about helping me. I

was really impressed although I was hoping to use Dr. Copeland

because she is hear in NY and with my insurance. However I'm drawn

more to Dr. Kolb and Dr. Feng. I was hoping to speak with someone

that used Dr. Copeland because you have to pay $200 just to talk to

her. How long ago did you have your implants removed? How are you

feeling?

Thank you for your prayers,

Lynn
