Guest guest
That's great news! I'm sure she's going to be beautiful. I am a month post op from Dr. Huang and am very satisfied with the results. She's an excellent surgeon! Please tell her says hello! spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: Hello - I am posting for my wife "Lynn". We have been here at the surgical center since 6am MST, it is currently 10:50am and I just got the call from Dr Houng that all is well. I have yet to see the results, but the Dr. states all is well and looks really good. I don't have much more info and have yet to see her, but she stated how important it was to her that I post this info for all of you. Thank you all for all the support you have provided for her and I am sure she will be in touch either later this evening or tomorrow. Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Guest guest
Oh you are so sweet . I feel very blessed to have met each and everyone of you. If not for his board, I would have been clueless as to what was causing my illness. I do feel a sense of renewal. I am exited to see the finished pruduct. I have sent Rogene photos to post on Shutterfly. I know I had several people praying for me and caring, this has helped. All of the positive e-mails I received helped pre-op as well. Guest guest
Lynn, It can take a very long time to clear fungal issues . . . Diet is very, very important. . . To a certain extent, antifungals are important. Once fungal issues are supressed (they won't be gone), one must replace the beneficial organisms that have been killed of by medications, stress and a depressed immune system. To do that, look for probiotics that contain as great a varitey of organisms as possible. Just taking Acidopholis won't do it. Eventually your body should have enough of these beneficial organisms to keep the fungal organism in check. . . . It takes a lot of perserverance and patience! Guest guest
Thanks Rogene. I plan on getting Garden of Life Probiotics once my Anti-Fungals are gone. Guest guest
Sandy, I am taking Garden of Life anti-fungals. I am taking Acidophilis right now as my probiotic. I plan on taking Garden of Life probiotic after my anti-fungals are gone. I also took about 3 Diflucan right after surgery. I have cut sugars and white starches out of my diet. I only drink water and hot tea. I have both The Yeast Connection and The Maker's Diet and use recipes from both. I am trying my best. I think it is working but it is just going to take a little while. Lynn PS.... I pray you can get your capsules out soon. A train ride would be fun. I might have to look in to that for my next vacation. I don't care to fly either and trains are typically cheaper. Sandy <dusty.com@...> wrote: Lynn, Candida yeast overgrowth takes a lot of perseverance, you really have to set your mind to making big changes in the way you eat and drink. I still have capsules left in me, I am currently trying to figure out how to make all the arrangements, travel, my sons care and the money involved. This is my priority right now. My boyfriend will not take a plane since the 911 attack looks like a train might have to be the alternative option for me. anti-fungals and probiotics, What are you taking ? Food What are you eating ? Do you have an ionic footbath ? Most likely you do not have the candida under control Patty, Rogene, Kendra and some of these other ladies are more experienced and knowledgeable than me. Guest guest
Lynn ~ I am sorry you are so tired. It is a shame that things pile up so much when you take vacation. Makes coming back sort of nightmareish. Get some good relaxation and sleep. I read where vit C really help with thyroid and adrenals, maybe take some more of that?? and maybe some magnesium at lunch????? I cant believe how much the magnesium helps my RLS. Yes, unfortunately, sounds like you ran into another so called doctor that wears ear plugs during their appointments geeeeeze....Here is a site to browse your doctors and you can also comment on your experience with them so others know: DoctorScorecard ~ Doctor ratings, reviews, and scores As soon as I am up to it, I am going to comment on all the doctors I have seen, and put in good and bad, unfortunately, I dont have much good experience with many.......if any........ I hope you feel better, try increasing your Vit C and take a magnesium mid day with food, and see if that helps you, also try to do the 15 min cat nap at lunch if at all possible. Even if you sit there and close your eyes and completely relax and meditate on nothingness..........LOL......I taught myself to do that and it sure helped me for a couple years ! Hugs to ya Lynn ! Guest guest
I know how you feel Sandy. It is hard not to be negative when you don't feel well. I hope you get cleared out soon. I am going to sign up for a colonic, I will let you know how it goes... Love, Lynn and Group I need something right now Before all this crap takes my life I did not move my bowels for 14 days straight I moved my bowels maybe twice since I have been home I will do this tonight Getting colonics can't wait My health is in big trouble !!! This is not a good sign I actually was thinking about going over to the hospital I hate having to deal with something I have no knowledge about This has to be the reason I am so blown up My mom was an RN She was never really in my life But I need her now I feel like I am falling apart I am just feeling so confused Thank you everyone for caring Sandy~ Hi, Sandy.I don't check the group too much because has legal actions pending and I can't say much of anything. I am so happy to hear you finally got to Dr. Kolb for surgery. Pain meds, stress, anesthesia can all create severe constipation. When 's was at its worst, we resorted to over-the-counter laxatives. It only took a couple of doses to get her intestines cleared. I know laxatives are BAD, but we had to do something. I think an impacted bowel is much worse than the side effects of a couple of days of laxatives. Then you will be able to worry about detoxing and probiotics soon after. Fleet has some over the counter liquid that will clean you out. It's not prescription and it's a little lemon-lime bottle of thick liquid. It's used before colonoscopies and I know it works.Be well SOON!!! ('s mom)

Guest guest
I eat whole grain organic bread too. I can't stand the taste of milk though. Good for you for giving up sugar. I still am amazed that I have not had a soda for 10 months!! I drank a pop or two a day for the last 15 years! I used Garden of Life's Fungal Defense. Lynn Lynn I can't really do the whole diet. I am eating grains and some carbs, down to 112 so I can't lose any more weight. I am eating just berries and green apples. But no juice and other fruit. And the sugar is very low, I used to eat sugar for all meals. And I drink a small glass or two of organic milk, which they say is bad. I just don't know how realistic that diet is and I have no digestive issues so it is tough. Which product did you use? Nan
