Guest guest
Hi Krista, We left at 5 a.m. this morning and got here at 9:30 pm. I took a few naps on the way, so I can't sleep right now. Figured it was a good time to catch up on the 120 e-mails from today - : ) The joints feel a bit better. They always seem to when I am out here, I wonder if it has something to do with the humidity? Thanks for thinking of me. You are so sweet! How are you feeling today? I hope better. I am glad you can take your time getting back to work if need be. You don't need the added stress of work while trying to heal from surgery. Hugs, Lynn Lynn Hey Lynn- I've been thinking about you. I thought you were headed offto Illinois? Are you feeling better then you were? Hope so.Love, Krista> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > Stephie,> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > Some women do have some hair loss after> >surgery -> > > > any> > > > > > > kind> > > > > > > > of> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > surgery . .. . as well as with implants.> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > It should grow back as you begin feeling better.> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > How are you feeling today? . . . Guest guest
Krista, I did the Maker's Diet on-line. Was was really nice because I am not much of a cook and it lays out meals and recipes for each day. I will probably do it again. Yep, I saw your post too. I would have felt so blessed if I were Ballerina if I had found this board pre-implant!! She is so lucky and it doesn't appear she understands that. Guest guest
I do understand! I do feel lucky. I am so grateful that you people are taking the time with me given that I am not making an immediate mental adjustment to not getting implants. It's just hard. And reading all of your posts has me wondering WHAT CAN I DO?? (to help you all and/or stop others from having this happen to them) I'm convinced there must be something. I wondered last night about the possibility of finding a company that has scientists- even if it's a pet food company or whatever- and asking them to donate time & resources to investigating this, from a scientific perspective, but an outsider's, unbiased, view, and tell them that what they could get out of this is more sales for their products (be they pet food or whatever). Because really what is needed is a fresh batch of unbiased, non-government, scientists who know how to do good scientific studies and have nothing to lose by exposing the real results.I want to help. Please don't think I don't appreciate having found this board. It's given me a purpose- a higher purpose than fixing my boobs : ) Re: Lynn Well, I liked your post below...I think we were basically saying thesame thing. :-)Glad your joints are feeling better and glad you're getting a littletime to catch up on your emails!I am okay. Guest guest
Rogene, Michigan is a depr3essed economy, and there's not much going on here except cars, Dow, and some furniture and cereal companies on the west side of the state. The housing economy is HORRIBLE- nobody can sell because nobody's buying. The jobs are sparse at best. So people are probably jealously protecting whatever economic security exists here- at any expense. It doesn't surprise me that the people here are the most resistent because they have the most to lose. (Dow, jobs, worse economy, worse housing situation, etc.) People here are very protective of things that are made here, and close their eyes to anything negative about those things. (e.g. you see a lot of bumper stickers here selling the concept of buying American cars, and "quality" is a four letter word) Ballerina Re: Re: Lynn Ballerina, People in your state are among some of the most resistant! . . . politically, legally and medically. . . . Guest guest
Ballerina,My son and wife visited Michigan last year . . . They were shocked at what they saw. Depressed neighborhoods were rampant. We need to replace two cars . . . but until the manufacturer's start producing what we want (40 mpg, minimum, for a mini-van-size car), we're going to keep what we have.I can't imagine why our car manufacturer's have been so slow to respond to the real world. Why do they wait for the feds to tell them what they must do? . . . Is it because those demands come with subsidies? We went through this years ago after the oil embargo . . . they didn't learn then, and they're slow to learn now. I suspect it's because the oil industry is so influential in the States.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
Why the cars may be less than perfect & a tad on the expensive side: 1. Automotive companies' Purchasing depts. MUST buy the cheapest parts for all bids, and must get at least 3 quotes for all bids 2. Good automotive suppliers (of instrument panels, transmissions, whatever) go out of business if they supply quality products at not-the-cheapest price (and how can they if they're making a decent product???) 3. Union people, who assemble the cars, aren't notorious for "pride in workmanship" (or sobriety- but maybe that's a myth) 4. Gotta pay all the insurance fees & pensions for all the retired employees (cost overhead that goes into the cars) Re: Re: Lynn Ballerina,My son and wife visited Michigan last year . . . Guest guest
Ballerina,Right now I'm driving a 2001 Toyota Sienna . . . The ONLY problem the car had was a faulty switch on an automatic door opener. . . .At 140,000 miles, I'm thrilled it is running so well! We do follow maintenance recommendations pretty closely, so that probably accounts for a lot. . . Cost is not as much a concern as efficiency and quality . . . American manufacturer's don't seem to rank as high as foreign cars. . . Even those made in the States. The union thing is strange . . . It would seem to be an advantage to the unions, as well as the companies, to tie quality standards to pay rates. . . People who don't do their jobs should be gone - with the union's blessing. . . There are plenty of people who would do the job right if they had a chance. Unions have done great things for this country - but some of them got too greedy.I'm wondering when employers are going to get serious about tying insurance rates to healthy lifestyles? Some are starting to do so - but they can get too intrusive too.I like the story of a scout troop leader who set out to teach his boys a lesson. He had the boys arm wrestle. Whoever brought the other guy down got a nickel . . . The guys worked and worked, ending up with just a little money. . . Two boys figured it out though. They took turns - first one guy was down, then the other. Flip flop, flip flop . . . They got nickel after nickel . . . The lesson? We get a lot farther working together than fighting against each other.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
I was a Honda girl until I got this job. I had to tear myself away from buying the Toyota Matrix a couple of years ago (because I worked where I do now). My parents were in the teacher's union, so I know unions can work and do great things. My stepkid's maternal grandfather is in the automotive union, and you should hear his stories! He says you can't be a whistleblower or you'll lose your job. Guest guest
Hey Dede, I have decided to cancel my appt this Friday and reschedule w/ a doctor down in Denver instead on May 5th. I was researching endometriosis and found many women who recommend a Reproductive Endocrinologist. So, I found one that appears to be quite the expert with endometriosis in Denver. It will be a far drive for me but worth it if he can help save any fertility I may have left. This doctor is internationally known for his work with endometriosis. If he mentions the word Lupron I will just die! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I hope you are feeling okay. When do you see an oncologist? Guest guest
Hi Patty, Miss you!!! Yes, we have been trying to have kids for nearly 5 years now. I have a mass on my rt ovary though, so I need surgery. I am sure it is endometriosis (have had endo for years). I hope this is the answer. Love, Lynn > > > > > > Lynn ~ > > > Many prayers and hugs to you ! ! I pray that your > > > E-mass is shrinking. I am sorry you have to go thru > > > all this. Guest guest
Oh Lynn, (Miss you too!) 5 years seems so long, but I know a couple who tried for 8 years. She finally had twins last year, but they did invitro fertilization. I hope once your endometriosis is treated and your surgery is over, things happen for you! When is your surgery? I will pray for success and healing! Patty > > > > > > > > Lynn ~ > > > > Many prayers and hugs to you ! ! I pray that your > > > > E-mass is shrinking. Guest guest
Patty, I am unsure. May 5th will be my first visit w/ this new doc. From what I have researched on him, he seems top in his field on both endo and fertility. I am excited. I will let you know how it goes. Guest guest
Candida can take years to eliminate and some very drastic measures for some people. I once read on a candida group about a woman who cured her candida by eating nothing but raw meat for 2 years. I wrote her personally and asked if that was really true and she wrote back and said yes, that is what she had to do to cure her candida. I've heard of others using ozone therapy to cure their candida. Still others go on a very strict diet, and I mean very strict... still others must use diflucan...I have a friend in Tucson who has struggled with candida for years and she has a standing order for diflucan at her pharmacist's that she takes once a month. This was after she followed a candida diet. It can be very, very difficult, and it may depend on the candida strain you are dealing with, and a whole lot of other factors. I used caprylic acid in high doses. I was wondering if you have ever tried the creams and lotions made for vaginal yeast infections? I sat here trying to think of anything that might help, although it sounds as if you have tried them all. I have unusual discharges with tiny, red and blue fibers. So far, I haven't felt them entering my privates, although they could be. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you brighter days ahead. Take care. > >Hi again, Lynn. I got a strange feeling in my stomache when you mentioned getting these mites rigtht after a hysterectomy. I too, started seeing my first insects, flying around me all the time, right after a total hysterectomy. I have always wondered if this could somehow be related to my surgery. I was in the hospital for 6 days after the surgery. I was curious to see if you ever thought these bugs could have been related to the surgery. Just a thought. Never really paid a whole lot of attention to. Take care!!! >
Guest guest
Hi Lynn I read a poster who had the bug really bad , fibers , larvae , piercings . She used Monastat & it cured in the privates . I use betadine (providone iodine 1 %, $8.99 at all pharmacys , it is painless ) I apply on wet skin rub in , let sit for 5 mins then rinse well if they ever get near, they die in 5-10 mins for good , sometimes I need & 2nd application the next day. Then I attack my chairs , auto seat , where ever I sit which is on a 5 gallon bucket I have bleached. Or in my car which I epsom /borax water the seat to death & cover with plastic & a seat cover which I changed & boiled daily when this bug was bad. God bless you , Bill Cee Cee wrote: > Â > >> > >> > I just had to post, which I rarely do. Your post was heartbreaking. Guest guest
Lynn - I had good luck with Vagisil wipes. Bessie > > Hi Cee Cee > > No I do not believe the hysterectomy started this. I have had intestinal problems years before this and have always suspected parasites. As I went through menopause all my allergies and sensitivies to meds and fumes grew much worse which meant my body was aging and having a more difficult time deposing all the chemicals we throw at ourselves through bad diet and cleaning products. I just never imagined it would get to a point whare it would interest a mite. I never even knew a microscopic mite could cause such pain and agony. > > I think the problems before the hystaretomy like constant hemmoraging was adding to the problem, but sooner or later it was going to get bad any way without me knowing what I was in for or what to do to prevent it. I think mine started in my colon. I think its bacterial and has to do with overloading the body with sugars, procceded foods and chemicals. Most natural healers teach are problems come from not keeping the colon clean which I firmly believe. I think maybe by healing the body it makes us less of a target by these bugs and will make it easier to kill them. I have been into natural healing for years and have learned more this past ten years than in my entire adulthood. I have always gone to the Dr. first and more than half the time had to turn back to holistic ways to get a real problem solved. Going to do that this time too if other family members work with me. lol. But I will bend and do other suggestions also. Like my husband wanting to use poison, but realizing the poison has to be so strong he does not want the grand babys near it even if it is dried. Part of me still wants to poison the pest also, but know that has had bad consiquense to my extreme sensitivitys to chemicals. Darn I want to poison the little demon bugs. lol. > > In Light Lynn > > > > > > >Hi again, Lynn. Guest guest
Yes Lynn, finally a moment when my flesh acts like it wants to live. Thankyou for asking, I did retire to my bed for nearly three weeks.(Long enough for the husband to suggest I 'Get out and go shoping, speak to my friends).I did all the calculations on my taxes while I was down. Yes they do love paper, and cellulose products, like reciepts. I got them done though. I spent over $5000.00 dollars on erraticating the itchies. Thank God for Itemized forms. This year I will have to rely on hollistic methods to get rid of them. My spouse has decreed I will not go back to tattooing because of the arthritis in my hands and back. My children will never go hungeryI am refering to my four legged, feathered and scaley babies. If not pressed too death to hurry every job set an example for other artists I am sure I will out-do myself artistically. Heaven knows artists live on emotional termoil !arol From: Lynn <torpedolynn@...>Subject: Re: Full Moonsbird mites Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010, 2:26 AM Here we go again. I posted a response to this and my response has disapeared. I was trying to say Hi Carol and glad you got a reprive from the bugs and hope this full moon you will have fun. I also asked if the animals you heal if they get bit by the bugs infesting you? Glad to see your posting. In Light Lynn> >> > Well. I've kept myself in as close to a clean invioron as I can since last monthes full moon. Gladly I have had few problems with our little demons since then.> > Soon we will have another full moon and as corny as it sounds my problems seem to escalate around each full moon. Funny my nickname was always wolfy, and I loved fullmoons as a roudy young person. I am ready this Maymoon and feel its going to be o.k.; it needs too I really miss being creative, I will find an art I can be part of. Just to show I am fearless, I have been a 'Raptor Rehabor' in the past and I took in a fuzzy blackheaded buzzard last weekend! I will raise this beautiful scavenger and let him fly free, I have done this since I was a small child. I dreamed of being a rehabor forever. They are an intrigal part of our ecosystem we forget too often. My fellow sufuring mite victums, maybe balance is more than we will ever know on this round world.> > > > Carol> >>
Guest guest
You could get some zinc oxide (diaper rash cream) and coat her vulva with it. That would help heal and keep more pee from irritating it again. Or you could infuse olive oil infused with healing herbs (plantain, chickweek, yarrow etc) and dry her off and apply that. Guest guest
Zinc paste might work too, an elderly lady I took care of had this problem, and her doctor had us put the paste on her. Zinc oxide has trouble on mucus membranes. I'm not arguing with you, Gayla. I'm sorry.
