Well, I won't say it always happens, or even that it's "usual", but it most certainly IS common - enough that I am a bit surprised your vet didn't think about it.So, yeah - ask. Couldn't hurt, might help.Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!"

Hmmm, I've never heard of that. I'll have to mention it to my vet. They certainly have never mentioned it to me. Thanks. At least it's something to look into for her.
