Guest guest
Why would drink that stuff. Greg Anything in a bottle, can or box sucks. They are all boiled beyond recognition as a juice. People say they can't drink orange juice, well I guess not it's so acidic I couldn't drink it either! But fresh o.j. I could drink all day long. Once you go fresh, you'll never go back! Guest guest
Do not buy tea in bags. They are mostley stems and run off of the whole tea leaf. Guest guest
I used to use my aluminum tea ball [but it's aluminum...] and now I have a plastic strainer, [but it's plastic.... Sigh] you get a bit of good mixed in with the chemicals our modern society forces on us, maybe I'll whittle a tea strainer from a willow branch or make a cloth teabag with my sewing machine and some lacy material [that was a joke]. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb Zeal for your house consumes me-Ps 69:9 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/?yguid=227010598 biblical survival -- Re: juice hell There is a whole world of teas beyond the bag. I got away from it, needto get back to it, but mixing things like rose hips, hibiscus, clovesand others herbs, flowers and spices makes great teas without the otherbagged teas. Guest guest
No offence, but that seems to me like a pretty lame excuse. If you want to get ahead in life and be all you can be, and be HEALTHY sacrifices have to be made, there's just no way around it. People set in their ways is another one and to me is lame as well. Guest guest
Many people feel that way, that if it tastes good it must be good, ly I find it amazing that people put things in their mouths when they have no idea of the provenance: ingredients, preparation OR preparers! I can't eat ANY thing I don't completely prepare myself. And I try to grow all I eat, which of course doesn't happen, sigh! I can ask the chef if there is any of the sixteen trillion things I'm sensitive to is in his food, but the truth is THEY DO NOT KNOW and I don't want to take the chance. Mc's? EWE! And I've worked in restaurants and can't eat there. One had balls of "butter" that they served with dinners, even after the people sat and talked over those lovely butter balls, spitting as we all do talking, the restaurants put them back into the container if it appears they were not 'touched'. That makes me sick to think of it, and I probably wouldn't catch anything anyway. Just imagine the awful chemicals they casually pop into all their foods routinely. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb Zeal for your house consumes me-Ps 69:9 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/?yguid=227010598 biblical survival -- Re: juice hell I think DR. Guest guest
Before you make that comment.. you should go back into the message archives and read up on some of the members.. Candace for instance, all the problems she has had and still does and what all she has done and gone thru to become healthier. And some of the things that happened to her when she did go raw and all..not everyone can jump on board all at once... as I said everyone is where they are supposed to be at this point in their life.. everyone on this list (or most everyone) is working to become healthier.. but we all cannot do it the same way. As long as a person is working on their health that is the important thing. And to say it is lame when you haven't walked in their footprints, you can have no understanding. Guest guest
I understand all to well. Your not working on your health if your drinking sunny delight. Its very simple to buy something else that's all. People want to get healthier they cant be doing that. I lost my Dad because of his diet. So I know all to well. Just stop eating bad and start eating good it doesn't have to be raw and awful.Very simple and easy to do.There is no excuse. Greg. PS there are many people that are not where they are supposed to be. Only if you don't care about yourself is that statement true. Where do people get this stuff? Guest guest
wow greg I think you are the only one I ever knew who ate health and made all the right choices since birth. I congratulate you one this. Guest guest
I once looked at the molecular models of sugar and cocaine side by side, very similar. It's no wonder people get hooked. This is how the designer drug people make new illegal drugs, altering the model slightly so it is different yet same effects, and the drug testers can not spot it until they develop a new test. -- No sig line is too small. Guest guest
Thank you-- you know oddly I never even thought of that. I've always just juiced my own.And I looooooooooved my fresh squeezed OJ or OJ/ lemonade combo. When I realized that's what was making me sick I just stopped drinking it besides the occasional jug of Simply orange or lemon juice. Love my citrus! Why is it the things we love so much we have to give up? BoooI'm hoping once this obnoxious flare goes away and my liver is on the up and up I can go back to juicing citrus ~drools~ yummmmIt's odd... When it started my sed rate was 107. When I switched to a raw diet and juiced like a crazy person while doin a liver cleanse (Dr Schulze) my sed rate jumped to 130!!!!!Ack!CandaceSent from my iPhoneOn May 21, 2010, at 1:54 PM, Greg <gkw12954@...> wrote: Drink some of the whole juices they cost a bit more but aren't you worth it. Guest guest
What's a "sed rate"? I thought maybe sedentary, but those would be some really high heart rates. "..........107. Guest guest
It seems that 107 for a sed rate is pretty high already. Perhaps your problem is not the citrus but something else and the citrus just increases it. I'm not putting you down, I'm a natural born detective. My chin stroking is in high right now, Have you done an elimination diet? Have you checked that some things you've already eliminated are not actually bad for you but are really good for you? For instance I found that potatoes are beneficial for me due to their high fiber, but I'd eliminated them because I'm diabetic. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb Zeal for your house consumes me-Ps 69:9 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/?yguid=227010598 biblical survival -- Re: juice hell Thank you-- you know oddly I never even thought of that.
