Guest guest
Well, dagnab it, I was GOING to leave Katy's comment about sitting with feet down not being beneficial to the circulation, BUT - like I said, clipping and trimming those posts doesn't seem to work with my computer. All or Nothing, apparently...Pooties.Never mind. Here's my new question regarding circulation :How horrible is it to have a cat sitting on your lap, whether on your Throne (my chair-and-a-half in the living room), or on the throne (small letters, big status in life) in the bathroom?I have 3 cats. Two of them are relatively lighter in weight, but the oldest of them is ... well, not. It is his new obsession in life to catch me when I'm headed for the bathroom (and mind you, I might be going in there to brush my teeth. he finds that deeply disappointing) so that he can camp on my lap and suck his tail.Obviously great long sessions of this are NOT happening in the bathroom, but even when I can persuade him to behave in a marginally "normal" fashion, and visit with me whilst my pants are up and I'm sitting for a longer time (watching TV in the evening, for instance), his weight soon becomes oppressive to me. Generally, my legs are stretched out and my feet are up on my footstool (everyone knows a really good Throne needs a footstool), but this cat will still make me feel like my legs are getting pressed to death. You know, like they did to "witches" in Salem. Pressed. It's frankly a terrible way to die. Ask my legs.Would it be worse if my feet were down? Should I set a timer for this activity? Forbid it altogether? Because I am noticing a few new "spider veins" on my legs (dang. there go the short-shorts).And he isn't all that fat, honestly. He's sporting a few extra, but he wouldn't come close to setting any records or anything.I'm just curious. (Plus I'd like to know).Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!"
