Guest guest
I saved this because I liked it, Old Jews had this prayer for a successful pottying: When one comes out of a privy he should say: Blessed is He who has formed man in wisdom and created in him many orifices and many cavities. It is obvious and known before Your throne of glory that if one of them were to be ruptured or one of them blocked, it would be impossible for a man to survive and stand before You. Blessed are You that heals all flesh and does wonders.†Feel free to substitute Mother earth or Krishna or Pan in this entreaty. Or to ignore this altogether, look on it as Anthropological. ~Katy Sheep to the right His Lamb -- RE: Stool Samples Well, I can't say I would prefer the subject to be dinner table conversation, but honestly! Sometimes I just get tired of how clenched our society has become about certain subjects! It IS a natural function, it most certainly can be a very straightforward indicator of several health aspects, and I fail to understand why we (that's a general, societal "we", by the way) have made it such a taboo.Mind you, I was raised the same as most everyone else, and so as a result, I will never be relaxed about considering it a spectator sport, but a simple conversation about health factors shouldn't oughtta have everyone fainting from blushing!!So, Greg - thanks for the timely reminder of how a healthy stool generally appears. And to re-emphasize the connection to the original thread, it ought not take many minutes to accomplish the evacuation, either. If your own function is drastically off in appearance or performance, you might want to reevaluate something about your diet or exercise routine. My dogs' stools, however, regularly vary according to what was fed the night before. It doesn't mean s------....um, anything.Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!" Remember its not what you eat its what you eliminate that is a good indicator of ones health. OK here goes... It should be large in volume, should be light in color, it should float and be virtually odorless. Hope this is not to much information.
