> Lavebder Lane has small tea bags and the larger ones for Bath Bags or

herbal Wraps, about 3 X4) They come in incriments of 100. They sre sealed on

3 sides, You fill them with your herbs 1/3 full (to allow for expansion when

wet) then you zip it shut with a warm iron.SOOO easy, I use them in a class

for LMP's on making spa products. Students love them. You can use them for

potpouri, sachets, tea, bath soaks you name it! erin

Hi there, can anybody help please. I am trying to find out who the

manufacturer of the self seal tea bags either in the US or Canada is. I

know of many who sell them but I want to buy very large amounts and need the

price to be very keen to make it viable hence the need to go to the

manufacturer or main distributor.

I would really appreciate some help as I have been searching now for 3

months unsuccesfully.

TIA

You might try www.papermart.com I like their stuff, but don't know about the

tea bags. They'll send you samples.

of Emporium Naturals has some very very nice bags. From Nature with

Love has nice bags too.

I ordered bags from a bulk herb place and they were cheapo's not nice enough

to package bath teas for sale. Look for the muslin bags with healthy tassel

or closing strings. The tea bags I got from a tea place had strings like a

piece of thread.

Greetings!

I am looking for cloth draw string tea bags. I use these for

packaging bath herbs etc. Does anyone have suggestions about where I

can get them? Please Let me know.

Those paper filters are bleached, I think making a cloth bag might be good, cheesecloth, hmmmmm.

"I used to use my aluminum tea ball [but it's aluminum...] and now I have aplastic strainer, [but it's plastic.... Sigh] you get a bit of good mixedin with the chemicals our modern society forces on us, maybe I'll whittle atea strainer from a willow branch or make a cloth teabag with my sewingmachine and some lacy material [that was a joke]. ~Katy "

I put loose tea in a paper coffee filter then staple it together so the tea doesn't fall out. Too lazy to make a cloth one, I guess.

I found a stainless steel tea ball and a stainless steal mesh tea spoon.

At present moments I bought a wicker tea strainer for $1 some time ago,

I bought two. Then I just use a kettle to make my teas and pour through

the strainer into my cup.

They have been around a long time and have quality products. I used to

live nearby and now I really miss the place.

I think cheesecloth is too loosely woven to work as a tea "bag", but unbleached muslin would probably do the trick.

It comes in a variety of weights and I'd pick a very light weight one.

You're right of course, I was trying to think Muslin and my pore ol' brain typed out cheese cloth. Between having dyslexic fingers and a Senior brain, whooeee.

Righto, I make bigger bags like that out of fancy fabrics for the tweeny girls, how hard will it be to make a smaller one.

Why not just tie a string around it?
