Yeah, I hadn't really planned to use the salt, I did make the Garrett's juice with the liquid seaweed and that's just plenty of salt. It really works to perk up flagging starts. I use it sparingly, but when in the ground I may be using lots more, This year I hope to put gold fish in my water barrel in my garden, I won't be dipping from it unless we get our usual drought, but when it's used it'll have fishy water in it, good for my garden, and I hope to keep the mosquitoes killed off rather than have the screening over the barrel.

Any thoughts?

I use a fresh water algae in my garden (plus it also has volcanic rock dust in it) - salt is not all that good for soil (you get salt in seaweed from the ocean). It makes the soil more acidic which affects the soil's ability to transfer nutrients to the plant, so eventually the plant will become nutrient deficient. Salt is not good for the soil structure.carolwww.nutrientsforplants.com

Hello group.. :^)

I seldom speak up. I really enjoy the things that I learn here, but most often feel that my input would not help the discussion. but in this case I may have something that might be of consequence. I have lived on 2 coasts, first the wonderfull NorthWest. and after that the Texas Gulf Coast. the northwest is fantastic and beautifull, and so very green, possibly because of a mix of salt air and abundant rainfall.. the gulf coast is beautifull, but in a much different way, more scrub growth and coastal grasses, possibly because of much more salt air and very little rainfall, I really don't know. but I have a link to an interview with Hartman, CEO of Ocean Grown. by Gianni. here it is:

I hope this information is beneficial to someone. Love and Peace in these trying times.
