Guest guest
Yes, you can use TINY amounts of good quality sea salt in the garden. You can also use seaweed instead. Both will add trace minerals. Gayla Bob and Gayla Always Enough RanchAcampo CA

Guest guest
This is great info! I love it!! I've used compost tea before. I remember when I first made it, my wife asked me what I was making. I said, " compost tea " . She looked at me like I was crazy (for some reason she has that look down pat. Hhmmm) and said, " there's no way in Hell I'm drinking THAT!! " After I stopped laughing, I explained to her what it was for. I guess she had a good reason to be startled. Some of the stuff I've made was pretty strange. Guest guest
I use a fresh water algae in my garden (plus it also has volcanic rock dust in it) - salt is not all that good for soil (you get salt in seaweed from the ocean). It makes the soil more acidic which affects the soil's ability to transfer nutrients to the plant, so eventually the plant will become nutrient deficient. Salt is not good for the soil structure. carol www.nutrientsforplants.com
