I was just wondering if there is any new information, she is not careful with her health and the worse she feels the worse she eats. I know so little about inflammation, I was wondering if anyone here knows more, like the guy who just gave us the wonderful chemical analysis of cinnamon and honey and why they work so well together.

I just noticed that on-site I have a different id, weird, but my other one is religious so I deselected it.

There are many foods that fight inflammation but the first thing you have to do is change your diet. Specific foods for specific inflammation should be the next question. Greg

ok, did I miss or forget something earlier... if you spoke about your daughter before, I'm sorry, it's gone in my poor little brain... too many emails and work to remember all.. Refresh my memory of what is going on with your daughter and what has she tried? what is she talking etc..

When doctors don't know the cause they always blame it on inflammation. Everything that goes wrong with the human body is based on inflammation. Greg.

get rid of the pepsi. she needs to cut down alot. more water... even lemon water would be good.. if she would try cutting back and subbing more water for a few weeks she should start seeing a difference.. teas, water, flavored water.. I used to be a mountain dew freak... she needs to flush out her system for beginners.

Yeah, and when I objected to the mountains of antibiotics she gave our combined flock of chickens, she said I was lying about being allergic [or becoming deathly ill] from antibiotics, But that's another story, she even had MRSA. And still gets antibiotics for head colds, and took prednisone, went crazy and permanently strained relations in the family [but I digress again-also another story] I'm concerned about her, and would love to know how she can get control of her health. specifically

It sounds like you are more interested in therapies than she is?

I know, I just want to be ready with the information when she's sick and tired of being sick and tired. She knows I live on an extremely restricted diet for my health, I'm the perfect person to ask if she wants help.

My husband is a complete believer in Allopathic medicine. And he signed her off to het married at age 16 she's 36 now. I guess that answers that question. I'm the only one who does care and she hates me.

Ah, that would work if I were her mother. I'm just married to her father. Remember I said she took prednesone and totally messed up the family, I was the main recipient of her anger.

Since the 'diagnosis' of inflammation was apparently made by a traditional,

western-med doctor (and I know how we tend to feel about that), may I suggest

that your daughter-in-law's largest problem might actually be something else?

If she's frequently ill with one thing or another, she couldn't help but benefit

from a pro-biotic / pre-biotic regimen. The combination that the pharmacy I

work for really believes in is Florajen (http://www.florajen.com/) with FOS

(http://www.purecaps.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=FOS2).

The good bacteria in the Florajen capsules, properly 'fed' with the pre-biotic

enhancer, will work to outnumber and consume the bad bacteria that have

obviously flourished in her gut.

It could be a form of Munchausen's, she was a sickly child and got a lot of attention being sick...as an adult she doesn't get this much attention until she "gets sick" and sits on a bed in the ER with everyone gathered around her.

But she her health is critical, she's grossly overweight, and very inactive and eats awful foods.
