Wish someone could convince my dogs that they're only successfully treated by homeopathy because they're gullible. Then they could be better treated with more conventional pharmaceuticals! Well, better except for the side effects, but you can't have everything! I read somewhere [i remember where but refuse to tell] that when the doctors went out on strike the death toll for people normally hospitalized went done dramatically. I've had some real iotrogenic experiences, true stories of malfeasance, error and just plain stupidity.

I thought it was (I certainly hope so!), but I'm afraid my response was a little off...I wouldn't have gotten so twisty about it if more people (like, the overwhelming majority!) understood homeopathy and USED it! But the fact is, most of us are viewed as "gullible".Distressing.If not for that, though, the article would be truly riotously funny!Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!" I keep seeing "studies" on the effectiveness of this herb or that one, and they always show the "herbs" being used are in little pill form, so they are not really herbs they are chemical analogs. And it's no wonder that "they don't work". I've studied herbal/natural/alternative/homeopathic medicine since I had a massive stroke from a prescribed drug at age 20. I simply do not trust the officials anymore.

Oh, I hear you. It took me longer, though (fine! everybody, all together now, "Well, DUH, Evie!" Yeah, I know, I know - hey! Better late than never, right?!), and even after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, the more catastrophic health concerns were with my dogs first!But whatever it takes to get us on the more enlightened path, well, at least we woke up at some point. Some people continue to follow blindly until the day they die. And they call US "gullible". !?!Mind you - if a person is more content being led around by the fear factor, then I am happy for him/her, and I wish them success in their choice. It's just that I have decided to (try to!) wake up and live with intention, and that includes not reacting, but responding.
