A note from Sproutpeople regarding membership

Hi sprout people!

I am posting to welcome new members who have had to wait too long for approval.

I

apologize for that. My trusty laptop died in December, after 5 1/2 years of

service. It held

all of my Sproutpeople documents. I am planning on replacing it in the near

future, but in

the mean time I am hard pressed to get certain work done. I will be back to my

usual self

when I get past this transition.

Also - I want to tell new members - and reming you old-timers, that there are

several

ways to modify your group membership. If you look just above the colored bar

with the

search field (right below the add at the top) of this page, you will see a link

that reads

EDIT MEMBERSHIP. Click that and you can choose several options.

The most important of these - to me - is Step 2: Message Delivery. For those of

you who

are new online or just love e-mail you can choose to receive each post to the

group as an

Individual E-Mail. For those who are less in love with e-mail you can choose

Daily Digest.

For those of you who want no more e-mail you can choose Web Only - which means

you

only see the posts when you log onto the group via a web browser.

For those of you who want to resign your membership, but have had trouble

leaving the

group via the link on e-mails, there is an option on that page (bottom right) to

Leave

Group. If it is just the e-mail that overwhelms you, we'd love to have you

stick around.

Just choose that Web Only option in Step 2 and you will retain the right to

visit the group

at any time you like, and to post if the mood strikes you.

I hope this helps you understand the workings of . It is the same

procedure

for all of them.
