Guest guest
Hi Rosemarie, I'm not an expert, but I have had painful bleeding, burning, very bad pain, with a BM for years. Till now. About one to two months ago, during the course of about a month, I purchased and drank about 6 bottles 16 oz. a liquid, by American Health, Acidophilus. One tablespoon, I recall contains 10 billion friendly bacteria. I estimate I downed one trillion friendly bacterias. It was six or seven bottles. Since that time the burning, bleeding, hemmorhoids, and anal fissure, seems to be getting better, so that now 2 months later, I seemed nearly healed. No bleeding, no pain. Little burning from cayenne pepper, but that is to be expected. Before I was incapable of eating any cayenne or anything that had cayenne in any amount. This past week I have had a whole grocery store size bottle of cayenne. Great cleanser it is, now that I am able to use it. The burning from the cayenne doesn't burn or compare the pain that I recently had, maybe from toxins from a disease bacteria growing in my colon. An ND told me that the anal fissure is caused by toxins being released from the colon. What wonderful relief, after about 4 years of gradually getting worse and worse. I thought for sure I must be about to die of the big " blank " killer, you know the " dreaded " sentence of death. Guest guest
It could just be from just how " he was made " , so to speak-- my dd had these purple bumps too, from about the time she was a week or two old- - just more delicate than most people I guess. Guest guest
If he's on blood thinners. That might be the problem. I was having bleeding hemorrhoids all the time with them. Went to taking large doses of Vitamin E, instead of the blood thinner Warfarin and they stopped. A good result of this besides helping the hemorrhoids, is that I no longer have to get my blood checked for the clotting ability. If he is a very heavy guy. Losing weight will help a lot. Cleaning ones own self with his fingers, while water is running over that area, also helps a lot. Do NOT use a washcloth down there! Some soaps can irritate them though. So best to use plain water sprays and the fingers. Then of course, use shampoo and/or soap to finish cleaning him. An air cushion might help. Cold water running on the area may dull the pain and maybe lessen some of that swelling. If he eats nuts or popcorn. There may be something digging into that area, causing problems. Believe me in this. Doctors generally do not get right down in that area to look close at the swollen or bleeding area. BTW, eating the creamy peanut butter is okay. It's just the stuff that isn't fully 'transformed', that has sharp edges or points to it, that can cause problems. Not certain if hull less popcorn is fully digestible or not. Getting up and being active can also help a lot. However, this never helped me, but it does other people. I presume he has tried the various creams, lotions and suppositories out there. Just in case he missed this one. There is at least one prescription suppository that is out there. Course, someone needs to insert it. Another yucky thing for most of us. Sleeping for 8-10 hours a day on his sides, can also help with the pressure in that area. Doesn't actually have to sleep, but be laing down on his sides. Not sure if being on his belly would help, as I can't tolerate that yet. Yeah, I'm still a very big guy, but losing slowly. As to pain meds. They aren't giving him the good ones. Good ones will knock him out or at least make him real drowsy. This isn't given though, if a person has to take care of themselves and/or drive. BTW, since taking that Vitamin E and getting off of Warfarin. My hemorrhoids have started shrinking. Can't get up and be active, since I'm in a wheelchair. However, I do change sitting positions as often as possible and also sit on a normal type of cushion. I will also do some stretching exercises and work out in the garden. So far, it has been about 6 months since my last bleeding and pain down there. Don't know if any of this info is new or not, but I tried giving information from my own bout of bleeding and painful hemorrhoids. Guest guest
Pain meds cause constipation, I'd stay away from, medications, flax sewed oil really helps. OTC creams are mostly petroleum based, I think that's bad. Softish fibers, beans, potatoes, veggies really help, raw is nice but only if well masticated. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb Zeal for your house consumes me-Ps 69:9 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/?yguid=227010598 biblical survival -- Re: hemorroids If he's on blood thinners.
