Guest guest
Alot of Maya`s health problems are because she is missing the thymus gland. She gets lots of upper respiratory infections, had thrush many times as a baby. I couldn`t understand why she always had thrush as she was breast fed but put it down to the fact that at the hospital they didn`t use fresh syringes when she was being tube fed. Now I know it was because of her absent thymus. I was told that the thymus gland is necessary until the child matures enough for the other part of the immune system to develop. The gland continues to mature until adolescent when it stops growing. Apparantly the reason we are more susceptible to infections when elderly is because the gland doesn`t produce as many T cells as we age. The particular infection I have been told could cause her serious harm is pneumocystis carina, a type of pneumonia...Spelling is wrong!!! Maya is on an antibiotic 3 times per week to try and prevent it. Carol _________________________________________________________________ On the move? Guest guest
I love that Nourishing Traditions book also.In her other book " Eat Fat Loose Fat " she recommends another food that is raw, and you can keep for a long time: coconut! I eat coconut milk, very often for breakfast ( organic from Whole food , very rich) with oats, coconut oil everyday, my basic cooking oil, use it also on the skin , boy1 , that one makes it feel like silk, though you cannot abuse that, it goes straight into the blood, and of course, as much as possible fresh coconuts, even non organic. I just avoid Mexico/ South America. I am thinking how much torture can they inflict to a coconut tree all the way up there, though I am probably wrong. Fresh coconut is one of my very favorite snacks, so delicious and satisfying, pieces keep in water for days. thymus 2 things I have done to help this, as my thymus was not functionning well 1 - take a product called ProBoost Thymic protein A from " Lots to live for " www.lotstolivefor.com 1 866 548 3367 2 - from my Tai Chi teacher: do the Tarzan thing, pound gently but firmly on your thymus - you know where it is, under the throat above the chest. Do that every morning as you get up and produce a sound at the same time, let the sorrow and pain come out with the sound. the first time i did this, it was bizarre, I felt like crying. now it is more like a Tarzan girl victory sound. It will stimulate your thymus, it is good exercise for it according to the Chinese energy healer hope this helps miss lavande
