Guest guest
3 cups water 1 cup soaked, rinsed, raw almonds Put almonds in the blender with water and run until nuts are liquified. Strain through a mesh bag (NO cheesecloth will not work). There are specific bags called "nutmilk" bags. I use re-useable produce bags made from mosquito netting, in fact I make my own. Sweeten, if you like. I usually add a few dates at the beginning (before straining) but some folks like to use the pulp for crackers and don't want it sweet. I also like to add vanilla to mine.
