Guest guest
I use to make one alllllll the time... And I'll probably be poo pooed for using something in a can....But the base of it was a huge can of V8. Throw in cabbage and whatever veggies I felt like and simmer. Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it.Candace No shadows to depress you Only joys to surround you Many friends to love you God himself to bless you These are my wishes for you, For today, tomorrow & everyday. I think I'll start with a nice chicken stock, since I don't do any pork I won't be using any bacon or such. I want to use lots of onions. I don't actually need a recipe, since I don't use any recipes, I use ingredients and adjust for what I have on hand, any advice on ingredients? Guest guest
OH yummy, sounds wonderful ; of all the canned stuff available, I only ever use stewed tomatoes, I puree them for Marinara sauce or use a little for my tacos, or just to add a little sompin to every day dishes. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds http://www.reusablebarrels.com/- storage -food quality barrels Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: Cabbage soups I use to make one alllllll the time...
