Yes, I was thinking that same thing, I lived not far from the origin of mankind as postulated by the religion of science, and stuff often doesn't grow all year long.

My question would be:

If humans were evolved to exist on fruit ONLY, where did they live that fruit was ripe and available all year long?

(This question stems from a post a few posts back, but my computer was being excessively uncooperative)!

And how does this compare to, say, the Arctic tribes who - before having white flour foisted onto them - lived predominantly on raw or sun-dried fish and marine mammal meat and blubber? Very little - and only seasonal - vegetable matter included in their diets.

Honestly, I'm not picking a fight here, I'm simply curious.

This may be gross, but a survival expert I know has shown how these

Arctic tribes got their plant matter nutrition from eating things like

fresh rabbit and deer berries. Herbivores do not fully digest the plant

material. Of course they were picky in which berries they ate, checking

for freshness and mold.

What is known as the source of civilization was once forested before

droughts turned the area into dessert. Saw this on PBS a few days ago.

The inhabitants then moved towards the coastal areas and learned to

fish. Some areas remained forested inland, the rest became desert.

An interesting note is that " modern " civilization, including medicine,

agriculture, law, science, mathematics, writing and more, all arrived at

the same time, man previous to this were quite primitive.

Our " modern " agricultural practices do not provide much diversity. Of

the more than 2000 vegetables in the world we see only a handful.

Welllllllllllll, man originally only lived in warm climates. It was not until wanderlust took over and humans started roaming.

Remember Lucy? They figure she was the mother of us all and her remains were found in Africa, I believe. I know it was someplace warm all year round.
