Guest guest
I have many stresses in my life but no stress. Why?? I don't worry about anything.. Worrying does not help. Just forget it. Unless your on your death bed, an then of course its to late, just do not worry about anything. Worry causes stress. Just deal with things the best you know how is all you can do. If you have problems with health or finances (the 2 major worries) just do your best and don worry. It works wonders Greg. I never saw any whining. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://orchardhouse heirlooms. com/product_ info.php/ cPath/157_ 163/products_ id/199 survival seeds http://groups. / group/Christian- homesteaders/ biblical survival -- [HAWK_Health_ Awareness] New kid on the block--Hi there. Katy told me about this group because I was whinning to her about all, or most, of my bodily non functionings. For a bit of history, I quit smoking 8 1/2 years ago and piled the lbs on in a heartbeat. I know, wrong choices in food and not enough exercise, but here I am, still craving the same wrong junk (mostly sugar and carbs), and I'm a butter ball and I'm not talking tasty turkey. 60 lbs over weight and I have trouble breathing. I have 2 different inhales for the breathing. I'm tired, and when I eat sugar I get really sleepy but I'm able to fight it until the feeling goes away. I have arthritis in my back, hips, knees, and ankles. I was a competitive roller skater in my younger years and spent some time on my fanny learning new dance steps. Falls and injuries, I'm told, can cause arthritis flare ups in later years. Well, here I am, in those later years, and hurting like I had been beat to a pulp. I believe with all my heart that getting rid of the extra weight would take care of a lot of my problems. I'm only 65 and way to young to feel this old so, I'm asking for help. I feel that I'm in a catch 22 situation because walking would help to get rid of this blubber and to do that, I have to not hurt so bad in my back, knees, hips and ankles. I have a garden so I don't lack for fresh veggies and I enjoy them very much. I'm not much for fried foods. Well, am I a hopless case or can anyone here help? Wanna try? You should have been on this side of my computer, Katy. You would have seen the whining. LOL I was watching Dr. Oz yesterday and he was talking about belly fat, which I have plenty of. He said it's cause by stress and he can tell that a person is stressed by seeing the belly. He said that passion flower helps to relieve stress. I love that show and learn a lot by watching it the two days a week I'm home at the right time. Do any of you use passion flower? Dr. Oz had it in liquid form in a bottle with a dropper. What else can be use for stress on a daily basis that won't cause sleepiness? I drink chamomile tea in the evening but I can't do that at work or I will be tired. A little less stress would be good. I'm wondering if my breathing and allergies are stressing me out. I can't crop this post for some reason. Believe me, I tried. Guest guest
Lol, my husband says I'm not worried about our state of well our problems, why? Because I simply don't fret, he tries his best to get me to fret but I have much bigger things to be concerned with and our little petty stuff, that all seems so big to him, just don't get me frothing at the mouth. Stress at my house comes from all the mental harassment because I don't worry. I say, "Worrying won't help at all it won't change the bottom line a bit.", so why bother to worry? It gives me an upset tummy, who needs it? I used to worry constantly, as a child I'd stay up for hours a night to worry about every facet of my life and all my classes, and when I couldn't find anything to worry about? I worry about that! Stupid huh? Lol, Doan warry, Be happy. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- [HAWK_Health_ Awareness] New kid on the block--Hi there. Guest guest
Haven't you heard? If you don't bottle it up it won't be long til you're canned. Grin and bare it became my motto and it works great for staying out of trouble but not so much for my health. Worry? Nope, I just get mad on the inside and tell my dog and my birds all about it after bothing God but then I forget it knowing full well that in no time, I'll have something else to discuss with them. I would make a great hermit if I didn't love people so much. Does that make sense? Didn't think so. I have to open my mouth so I can change feet. <G> Katy, why in sweet tarnation won't your posts let me crop them so I can at least stay out of trouble with the goup?
