Guest guest
You should have been on this side of my computer, Katy. You would have seen the whining. LOL I was watching Dr. Oz yesterday and he was talking about belly fat, which I have plenty of. He said it's cause by stress and he can tell that a person is stressed by seeing the belly. He said that passion flower helps to relieve stress. I love that show and learn a lot by watching it the two days a week I'm home at the right time. Do any of you use passion flower? Dr. Oz had it in liquid form in a bottle with a dropper. What else can be use for stress on a daily basis that won't cause sleepiness? I drink chamomile tea in the evening but I can't do that at work or I will be tired. A little less stress would be good. I'm wondering if my breathing and allergies are stressing me out. I can't crop this post for some reason. Believe me, I tried. Katy told me about this group because I was whinning to her about all, or most, of my bodily non functionings. For a bit of history, I quit smoking 8 1/2 years ago and piled the lbs on in a heartbeat. I know, wrong choices in food and not enough exercise, but here I am, still craving the same wrong junk (mostly sugar and carbs), and I'm a butter ball and I'm not talking tasty turkey. 60 lbs over weight and I have trouble breathing. I have 2 different inhales for the breathing. I'm tired, and when I eat sugar I get really sleepy but I'm able to fight it until the feeling goes away. I have arthritis in my back, hips, knees, and ankles. I was a competitive roller skater in my younger years and spent some time on my fanny learning new dance steps. Falls and injuries, I'm told, can cause arthritis flare ups in later years. Well, here I am, in those later years, and hurting like I had been beat to a pulp. I believe with all my heart that getting rid of the extra weight would take care of a lot of my problems. I'm only 65 and way to young to feel this old so, I'm asking for help. I feel that I'm in a catch 22 situation because walking would help to get rid of this blubber and to do that, I have to not hurt so bad in my back, knees, hips and ankles. I have a garden so I don't lack for fresh veggies and I enjoy them very much. I'm not much for fried foods. Well, am I a hopless case or can anyone here help? Wanna try?
