Years ago I had a friend who used his urine topically on his acne lesions. He

said it helped.

I agree that it sounds disgusting, but so does the use of leeches...and the

use of mold for fighting infections (penicillin)...and pregnant mare's urine

(Premarin for women)....and so on...

In the end, it's just another liquid with a variety of chemicals in it. I

guess if one is desperate enough...

Even though I have not been on shots lately, I use to get those IMO

and then they checked my urine and found out my Pth was high and so

did calcium level were high what does it smell like mine it smelled

like burning tire nasty so checked out it might be something serious.

Sorry to hear what happened to you. Losing bowel/bladder control is not uncommon

during seizures. I wear disposable underwear like " Depends " , just in case.

Have you noticed you seizures happening in cycles with your period?

The issue is, it was not a gm it was a complex partial that is the

problem.

Ohh yes, and i had my period yesterday too.

My sister was saying possible a urinary tract infection?? Only

because I have been complaining about the tightness below my stomach

and today going to the bathroom a bit more now.

Sounds like you have catamenial epilepsy. Loss of urine control can be

caused by the seizure itself along with hormonal changes during your cycle.

I am familiar! UGH!

I went to see my doctor yesterday. Ever since this all happened I

have been having pressure like I have to go to the bathroom. And I

only go a little bit. The doctor was useless there and was sending me

to my neuro. There was no Urinary Tract infection she said. BUt the

pressure doesnt stop unless I take baking soda with water.

I have to go see a urologist just to be on the safe side. I dont

think it has anything to do with my seizure at least I dont think so.

What has helped many of my clients with that is putting Cayenne tincture in some

water and drink it. What that does is create circulation, when something is ill

it needs circulation. If interested get a strong Cayenne tincture a weal one

wont work.

Hiya ,

when ever my son has a seizure he sometimes loses control of bodily functions.

It is a reaction to the body , from the seizure.

Like 'aftershocks " from an Earthquake..

Your body has reactions after a seizure..

the stress from the seizure may cause you to lose control of your bladder?

Ok this happened last night that was very strange and never happened before

I has having a large party for my daughters graduation party.

Very overly stressed more than usually. Had a seizure before everyone came. ANd

took half ativan while people were here.

I had another seizure about 7 at night but still had guest here. It was for

about two minutes possible. Trying to get my thinking back to straight was still

hard. Them asking me questions. But yet I knew what happened.

I was sitting on the chair seizures was over but still answered on and off. I

could feel that urine was just coming out nonstop and could not help it. I ran

to the bathroom as it was just pouring out of me with my guest in the room. Not

able to even hold back one bit. I just kept running to the toilet till it was

completely out of my system and then finally would stop while sitting on the

toilet. Yes I was soaked I had to change. I was more confused on what happened

and what now. How many more times will this happen again? Will I have to worry

each time I go out the door!!!! Luckly it was my two sisters and her husband

that saw what happened. Didnt bother me too much just the fact that it happened

and asking why in my brain???

You COULD have a UTI

call your doctor and get in for a check up.

IF you have a UTI, you need to KNOCK THAT OUT!

once you get them..you may open yourself up to get them more frequently.

THEY REALLY TAKE A TOLL ON YA too!

so get in to see your doctor!

The issue is, it was not a gm it was a complex partial that is the

problem.

Ohh yes, and i had my period yesterday too.

My sister was saying possible a urinary tract infection?? Only

because I have been complaining about the tightness below my stomach

and today going to the bathroom a bit more now.

Hi :

My son has urinary loss after a seizure too.I agree that it is

like an after shock from an earth quake.It's a lot of stress on your body.He

sleeps for hours after a seizure too.
