Guest guest
Hi Shari, I did google it and found it on TV. I see it's the shopping channel that I always skip over when channel surfing. I didn't know that's what it was called but thank you for your advise. In the future, I will google and it's not my knickers that I get in a knot since I don't wear them any more, it's actually, my nerves and do still have them, most of the time and I'm more likely to get my panties in a wad. I think acronyms are just yet another form of speech laziness but that's just me. , now minding her own businessWho plants a seed beneath the sod and waits to see, believes in God.ExoticPetsGardening ><}}}*> From: SV <shavig@...>Subject: QVChealth Date: Thursday, August 12, 2010, 10:11 AM I went to their website and it doesn't even say what QVC means! Probably Quality Value something............... It is a channel on television that sells everything you could ever want, most of what you don't need. They do a very good job of it too! I have a number of workout videos from them. Sorry you get your knickers in a knot over so many acronyms. I usually just use "Google" to find out what something is I don't know. Guest guest
well this is really going to get you LOL!! I find that hilarious, want to ban texting. I love it and I spell out all my words when I text. Sometimes texting is the only way my kids will "talk" to me. My pet peeve is using words incorrectly or incorrect words. Such as the apartment complex I have to drive by almost every day: Wear To Live! YES! That is the name of the place. Makes my teeth hurt. Guest guest
Yes Yes YES! I hate it when people say 'least we forget' or 'for all intensive purposes', or my relative who says "concreek"[concrete] or Agsorb [absorb] and Val [valve] just because he is too lazy to say it correctly. ARrrrrrGgggg. It's the lazy ur, and re8, and B4, they expect us to be just thrilled to translate into real English, that makes me mad, not the texting, I'm talking about in emails, and even official stuff. Please, if we never had texting we wouldn't have thumb language
Guest guest
Using "funny" spelling is a symptom of our dumbing down, whole generations misspell so many normal words, not just the multi-syllabic but the simple ones. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://orchardhouseheirlooms.com/product_info.php/cPath/157_163/products_id/199 survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: QVC well this is really going to get you LOL!!
