Guest guest Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 We ate our russian mix sprouts this morning for breakfast on bagels and then again tonight with dinner....they are gone. I guess we really do need to start a jar of leafy greens every other day to have enough to eat. The lentils should be ready tomorrow and I am going to throw them in my rice cooker with my brown rice for dinner. I splurged at the grocery store and bought a bunch of beets with greens so i will steam the greens and shred the beets raw with some cabbage for a real feast tomorrow night. I have a small jar with a teaspoon of onion sprouts started to give them a headstart on my next russian mix. In this first batch only a few sprouted so I pulled them out for a headstart this time. I am starting to soak my wheat in the morning for my first sprout bread in a couple days. And the garbanzos started their soak tonight. I soaked my almonds for a great almond milk a couple days ago.
