Guest guest
Okay, - thanks for the info.DE not being efficacious was what I was kind of afraid of to begin with.Poo.Well, we'll do what we have to do - can't ignore this, I do know.Ev"A hundred million miracles are happening every day!" Termites come up from the ground and get into the house where ever wood hits the dirt. Putting down DE around the house will not stop them, because termites are subterranean creatures, they do not come out into the light. The only way you are going to eradicate them is to treat the ground, which is why you see bait stations from places like Terminex in the ground, not on top. If the termites are in the house already, you are going to have to spot treat the areas where they are eating lumber, in addition to treating the ground. Check into Termidor. One treatment where they drill down into the earth around the house and pump the stuff in is all you need, that will stay good for at least 6 years, maybe longer Termidor migrates through the soil so it will migrate out from where it is pumped in, which is a good thing, sets up more of a barrier. Termidor is also safe - same pesticide used in flea collars, which, by the way, some people also take orally to kill candida.
