Guest guest
Hello Sprouters, My brilliant son asked me the other day as he was exploring my latest attempts at micro-greeens: " So how are they different than sprouts? " since he sees I am growing them without soil. I had to admit I didn't really fully understand and would love to open this up for discussion. Does it have to do with further development of the plant, or is it dependent on drawing nutrients from soil or some medium to be different? The taste is fuller for sure, so how about the nutrients/chemistry? And I have so far avoided soaking my medium in anything but pure spring water and then I mist with " Willard " water. Anyone out there remember this " catalyst altered water " (C.A.W.)? I have used it for 15 years on my plants and also burns, abrasions, cooling oneself on a hot day, ect. My greens love it too. Would love your musings to scientific expertise. Thanks,
