Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, > What are your thoughts on consuming Kefir as a source of friendly bacteria? +++Hi Das, I don't go along with the " so-called " friendly bacteria theory, so that's why I don't recommend taking any probiotics. Tests have proved some people who are perfectly healthy don't have any of those bacteria, so go figure. However, kefir is different, but kefir contains alcohol anyway, and if made from dairy it contains galatose, a sugar that occurs when lactose is fermented. I believe your body is very capable of producing any " supposed " friendly bacteria it needs whenever it needs it, just like it balances out all nutrient levels by just consuming " proper nutrients " on this program. All the best, Bee

Guest guest
Someone just gave me some kefir grains. Instructions came with them say to use milk. I do not drink milk either. My question is can I use almond milk? Guest guest
I don't know about almond milk, but I do know some folks use coconut water from the white "young" coconuts to make kefir. Shari
