Guest guest
I had a friend that had insomnia. I just told him to try to stay awake for as long as it took his body to shut down and fall completely asleep. He told me it was the best night sleep he had in years. The next few nights he had no problem sleeping. Greg. Guest guest
I did the same in one occasion, but it didn't work for me at all. I have sleep problems since I was a little child. I usually fall asleep, but I wake up so soon, or repeatedly that putting all the minutes together perhaps I sleep a couple of hours per night. . I tried everything I found. Guest guest
I don't take any drug at all, not even aspirins. I only rely on divine power, herbs, food and natural therapies. Guest guest
True, I try everything else first, drugs make me sick, because of the gasoline in them. You should have seen me when I took one Motrin. Guest guest
" I blew out my right rotator cuff. Peace, love, laughter " Oh Man That HUUUUUURTS!!!!!!!! Ask me how I know! I tore mine 3 months ago - just lifting a 3 pound bucket of hot peppers. It will heal in time. I use a pain killing balm to sleep if it wakes me up. I have to sleep in 1 position only - having my arm in any other position hurts. Not so badly now, but the first month was sleep from Hell. My SO's son tore his and the PTs said to try hanging your arm over a chair and rotating it without lifting it at all. It does not sound like much but it will help it heal. Happy Healing! Guest guest
The weird thing is that I sleep better when I lay on my right side. It doesn't hurt as much. And of course Marilyn gets after me when I spar with and his friend Jake. I'm teaching them basic self defense, full contact, and am covered with bruises. And it doesn't do my shoulder any good. but it sure is a lot of fun! Plus got a WII, and we play it quite a bit. I know I need to take better care of this issue, and I shouldn't be doing some of the things I am doing. But there are real reasons why I am, and they are important to me, (though I really shouldn't be playing the WII). But the self defense is very important to me. Considering his school, the school he'll be going to next year, and our neighborhood, it's vital for him. He's already had several issues occur that I had to intervene on, and get the police involved. And let's face it, I won't always be here to protect our family. Someone has to take up my mantle when I no longer can. Good Lord, I just went off on a tangent, didn't I? Sorry about that.... Guest guest
However, if you have GERD. Sleeping on your right side may aggravate the problem. I have GERD, but have rarely had problems since 1998, when I started on a cider vinegar regimen. So, I do sleep on my right side, as a result of the vinegar consumption. I also have less pain in my back/spine, when sleeping on my right side.
