Guest guest
Hi, because I do talks about sprouting, I have about 10 different devices. Some are home made. In between time I have two EasySprouts going all the time if its just the wife and I that I am sprouting for. If I'm going to have guests over or a family dinner, I will get my FreshLife machine going ahead of time because I can do a lot of sprouts all at once. One of the EasySprouts always has a salad mix in it (French Garden from is the wife's favorite). The other rotates between broccoli, pea shoots, sunflower, alfalfa, mung beans and others. I find that if dried (as in, all the excess water off) and stored properly the sprouts will stay in the fridge for up to two weeks, so I always have sprouts on hand. Tonight I am starting a Great Bean and Rice mix that sells that I dearly love, and will use left over turkey in the soup. This mix takes just four days and its ready to make a great pot of soup. If I have the FreshLife going and my grandchildren stop by, they will always spend a little time grazing. They don't care whats growing, they just love the sprouts. ew how many sprouts do you have going at one time? Date: Fri, 28 Nov 2008 13:16:08 -0500 I'm digging into the website, printing off info on various sprouts I'd like to try, figuring out where I should begin, what sprouter I should use, and I just got curious, how many sprouting devices do you have, how many types of sprouts do you have going at one time, and if you have a minute ;-) what types of sprouts do you use the most? Thanks! Ginnie
Guest guest
Ginny, I have 3 easy sprouters going at once, in various stages of growth. I mix seed -- during the winter I include lots of 'hot' varieties (mustards, radishes, etc). SproutPeople have some good hot mixes. I mix hot seeds with clover or alfalfa -- each sprouter gets about 3 tablespoons of seed mixture. terry > > > > I'm digging into the website, printing off info on various sprouts I'd like > to try, figuring out where I should begin, what sprouter I should use, and I > just got curious, how many sprouting devices do you have, how many types of > sprouts do you have going at one time, and if you have a minute ;-) what > types of sprouts do you use the most? > > Thanks! > > Ginnie > > > >
