some of us have talents that are not particularly mechanical

so this easy sprouter of mine, I do not know how to use it

here are the " movable " parts

1) a plastic bucket regular

2) a plastic bucket with " holes "

if I understand well,

bucket #2 goes inside #1

I put the seeds in #2 . wash them and let them drain in #1

so far so good

#3) a little top with a handy grasp, with " holes "

what is that for?

#4) a dome with holes. is that for the seeds to breath ?

do we use it up side up and up side down?

I have put # 3 inside #4 to drain

is that correct?

#5) a top flat with holes ? for the seeds to breath

why is there 2 of them? a dome and a flat?

#6) a top solid

I use this one to shake during the rinse

I don't know... this is too many parts for me

they also take quite a bit of space when they are not used

please be kind, I have no talent for mechanical stuff, it is all

mysterious, and occasionally hazardous.

I envy those of you for which looking at objects makes sense.

on the other hand Tai Chi has been wonderfully easy and fun, but not

helping here.

Ok, Miss L, repeat after me. This thing is real easy to use. WOW! This

thing is really easy to use!

Using your numbers: Part #1 is the outside container.

#2 is is the inside container where the seeds grow

#3 snaps on to the bottom of #2 when you are sprouting small seeds. Isn't

used for large seeds.

#4 is supposed to go on top. Its a little tricky. I just put it on top

until the seeds get real high.

I don't even use #5 or 6

So put #2 into #1. If you are sprouting small seeds, snap #3 in the

bottom. You need to hear a positive snap. If not the seeds will get into

the outside container and then you will really be confused.

Put in you seeds. Cover with water. Let soak.

Next day lift #2 out of #1 and let the water drain into #1.

I don't shake the seeds, I just sort of spin #2 in a circle with the

bottom pointing downward.

Set the seeds aside and do something with the water in #1.

Put #2 back into #1. You will notice some raised areas inside the top of

#1 and some tabs on outside on the top of #2.

Line these up so that #2 sits off the bottom on #1.

Drop the dome lid on the top. Upside down is ok.

Rinse twice a day by pouring water into the sprouter. Then lift out #2

and spin the sprouts dry.

Repeat this until the seeds get to be the size that you want.

Eat and enjoy. Wash the sprouter and start another batch.

On the first page of the little yellow pamphlet that came with the devise

, it tells you what the other two lids are for.

Hope this helps.

PS:. Why are they not used? I have two and they are working all of the

time. They sit on the corner of the kitchen sink and they behave

themselves.
