Guest guest
I agree that we are all on different paths. Where I am now, I may have to have surgery on my rotator cuff to get rid of a cyst that is severely impinging the use of my right arm. I refuse to take narcotics for the pain (story there!!), and have gone the cortosone route twice.  I've done everything I " preach " , and realize that even though I VERY MUCH distrust the medical profession in general (with some remarkable few exeptions), if it calls for it, I may need to do it.  I tend to avoid concepts like " truth " and " proof " , they tend to be limiting to how the speaker sees it. There is " evidence " , and there is " experience " . Take from it what you may.  I am glad our paths have crossed! Guest guest
Well put, Suzi. In the Fall of 2004 I tore the Achilles tendon off the of my heel, refused surgery and was in a cast until late Spring of 2005 as the orthopod tried to do what she could within the "rules" I dictated. I did everything "natural" or alternative available. The injury was beyond what any chiro or acupuncturist in the city could - or would - deal with. Fast forward to the winter of 2010 and surgery is now inevitable if I want to continue to walk under my own steam. Refusing the surgery 5 years ago has not only caused great damage to that foot, but also the knee, and was the direct cause of a broken arm. The knee will never recover. There are situations where allopathic does, and should, replace alternative, as much as we don't want to admit it. Guest guest
I agree!  I went to " Urgent Care " here because of my shoulder, and the doctor put me on percocet. After the hallucinations, the night terrors, coming to in the closet because " they " were out to get me, the paranoia, they realized that maybe ibuprophen would be better, though it makes my stools bloody.  Doctors are people too. They make judgments and decisions on the fly, just like we do. It's up to us to be as informed and educated as we possibly can. Guest guest
You know I don’t do allopathy at all, but four weeks ago I broke a bone in my ankle/foot. I don’t know which because when I went to the Urgent Care they took x-rays and said they couldn’t find a break. However, the foot was black and I knew it was broken, albeit just a hairline fracture. BUT, they did give me Naproxen for the swelling and inflammation and Tramadol for the pain, and I took them. Four weeks later, today I took off the moon boot and am walking with it taped/wrapped and in Teva walking sandals (although I’m trying not to walk very much…just got darned tired of the boot). I also had Reiki, homeopathic Arnica (both the pellets and the gel), SCIO resonance biofeedback, and Trinfinity8 vibrational healing protocols. So I’m fairly well healed in a month rather than six-to-eight weeks. There is sometimes a use for allopathy, but I would never turn to it for any kind of wellness protocol. Guest guest
There are times when we have to get help, I know when my arm was sliced open I didn't know about superglue yet so I went to a clinic and got sewed up, I refused a pain killer but they injected me anyway, I healed in a few days using a comfrey and chickweed poltice. No infection, nt pain ever. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds http://www.reusablebarrels.com/- storage -food quality barrels Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- RE: MAMMOGRAM You know I don’t do allopathy at all, but four weeks ago I broke a bone in my ankle/foot. Guest guest
Hi Wanda, Bee does not recommend mammograms. They expose us to radiation which is dangerous. Here's an article about mammograms from Bee's website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women3.php Group Moderator > > Hi Bee, > Is Mammogram safe? if we get healthy on your pgm, do we need it 1/yr or > 2/yr?
