Guest guest
Soy is well known to not only inhibit, but attack the thyroid. Also, over 95% of the soy in the US is GMO. Guest guest
I agree, my guts hate it too. IT IS NOT HEALTHY, NOR IS IT A HEALTH FOOD. Possibly fermented but not as is, Many of my vegetarian friends eat pounds of this garbage per day. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: More questions for vegans Soy and tofu - bleek, ick, ugh, pooey icky. Guest guest
Yes, yet another reason to avoid this poison. It causes [phytic acid??] vitamin absorption rates to go down, and the fake estrogens cause puberty troubles in children. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: More questions for vegans Soy is well known to not only inhibit, but attack the thyroid. Guest guest
Only made in the USA and it's gross! Guest guest
All soy products in the US also tend to have estrogen, which is unarguably bad for males and females. Bigger breasts for males, less semen and maybe becoming more able to have sex at earlier ages. Females are now having earlier and earlier menstrual cycles. Think 9-10 years old. Breasts are bigger and obviously gals are having children at earlier ages than ever before. BTW, at one time, in the 50's and before, the general age of a girl starting her menses was around 17-18 years old. The above is all attributed to all the soy products in food now. The only good soy is fermented, like they do in China. AKA Soy Sauce made there. Chinese groceries may or may not have Chinese Soy Sauce. So it being a Chinese grocery may mean nothing. Plus, we all know that the upper echelon and government Chinese, do not care about what really goes in the food or other products for the masses. Before anyone says anything about the Japanese and Chinese eating lots of soy. That is a lie perpetuated by the so interests in the US. They use the fermented soy sauce, that most of the smaller villages make for themselves. So if you can ferment your own soy sauce out of soybeans. go for it. Just also try to grow your own soybeans as well, as organic as possible, with Heritage type soybeans. Guest guest
It is more than the soy causing these problems. Plastics, xenoestrogens and a few more things play into the chemical mix soup that is causing man boobs, earlier menses and more. Guest guest
Yes, it is. I know plastics also have xenoestrogens too, so avoidance of those is good too. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: More questions for vegans All soy products in the US also tend to have estrogen, which is unarguably bad for males and females.Bigger breasts for males, less semen and maybe becoming more able to have sex at earlier ages.Females are now having earlier and earlier menstrual cycles. Guest guest
I'm not sure I understand your reply - II don't eat soy and I have not eaten soy for over 20 years. You are the person that asked about eating soy. Guest guest
I meant in general of course, I certainly wasn't attacking you or anyone. I suppose I should say, if soy is just part of the problem doesn't mean that it's ok to eat, that all components of the problem might be best to avoid, your response made it appear that since it wasn't the whole part of the problem that it's ok to continue to eat, well, It seemed like it to me, I was not trying to be confrontive, just answered the implied statement. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: More questions for vegans I'm not sure I understand your reply - II don't eat soy and I have not eaten soy for over 20 years.
