Did I just inadvertantly unsubscribe from the list? I was merely trying to delete the survivalist garbage....

"Could you survive if you had too. I think not. Greg"

Why must you throw such a snarky comment in here? You have a tendency to do that - a lot. You don't know anything about us, personally so how do you know we could not survive.

?!?Oh, Hon, seriously! You are SUCH a hoot!

Survive WHAT, exactly, Darlin?

I've survived two teens in high school at the same time! I've survived your typos!

You have never been camping with me. You have never been wildcrafting with me. You wouldn't know me in a crowd if I stepped on your foot! How is it you know enough to declare I couldn't survive if I had "too"?

Perhaps you should just whittle your post down to the last bit - "I think not." It seems quite comprehensive.

I was just responding to the statement someone said about survival being garbage. We may be closer to having to be able to survive in this world than you think. Is everyone prepared? Then you attack me with type o's. What type o's. I have spell check Ha Ha. Greg.

Way cool Ev!!! I survived two kids in high school and now I work in a technical high school culinary arts program! I have 50 teenagers everyday and they all have knives!!!

I've camped in Alaska in the winter! I've lived in the mountains of Washington state for a summer. I would very much like to walk the Pacific Crest Trail in the next five years.

I would LOVE to go wildcrafting with you Ev. Foraging is one of my most beloved activities in the wild. I have some lovely chantrelles I gathered this weekend. Having them for dinner with WILD Alaska salmon tonight.

Hey, I've lived in a tent for a summer too, in the North Idaho Mountains on a Grizzly bear preserve , done lots of off-the-grid living when I was younger and spent years learning from Trappers and 'wild' Indians on how to survive in the wild. I had a farm in Eastern Washington state, as a single woman, in fact I was single for all my 'wild' days, having a man around [briefly] meant having one more to take care of, a 'dead' weight. I can trap, kill, butcher, cook and tan the hides And make them into clothing etc.. In fact I find it easier to do real wild living than the more modern type of survival with supplies and hand-crank machines. Oh and I stayed clean , or got that way, quickly if I got nasty dirty. No hippie dabbler here.

What type of survival stuff are you taking about? Was it that post with the food that lasts for 15 years? If so I was kind of interested. Other wise I'm not sure what you're talking about. Also, I did notice that you did make a typo in your post. Just a thought.
