Guest guest Posted November 3, 2010 Report Share Posted November 3, 2010 I agree with you whole-heartedly!  However, as I try to teach my kids, and now my grandkids, we try not to (as our family policy) do things " for the result " . IE to get benefits etc. We do right because it is the right thing to do, whether we are recognized for it or not.  In other words, commit acts of kindness, not because we ourselves may benefit in the long run, but simply and only because they're the right thing to do.
