Guest guest
We could turn this into a learning experience. Survival ala health style. I can walk into my tiny back yard and I can pick some very nutritious wild edibles, which I have done to make a salad; a couple neighbor kids were in awe. I gathered some wild violets, plantain, dandelions, purslain, lambs quarters, nasturtium flowers, along with some lettuce I had growing in a pot. Much of what we call weeds are cultivated in many countries and were here also in the olden days. What most people eat are only what the corporate farmers grow. There are thousands of different vegetables. Guest guest
Lots of what grows wild here is edible, but well I'm more interested in what comes out of my garden for now, I have woods behind my house, lots of prospects there for yummies, but bugs are not on the menu yet! Anyone else watch the Discovery survival shows, man vs. wild? man-woman-wild? The colony? ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- Re: Re:Thank you for your support!!!
