Leavenworth used to be one of my favorite spots until the yuppies took over! I worked at s Pass ski area for a winter and absolutely loved it! And I was 50 then!!! Still a hippie at heart. Guest guest
I was on the REZ, Nespelem in the Okanogan- Grand Coulee dam area., not what you'd call a respectable location, but I learned so much. I visited in Leavenworth, it's not as close to real Bavaria as I remember from when we lived close to that. s pass, I hear, is very nice, I was going for cheap and wild. In Idaho it was the same, I lived out in the woods and in cold water cabins, learning what it takes to survive real privation. But the people were sometimes violent, and always a bit crazy. ~Katy Sheep to the right; His Lamb “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength" Isa 30:15 http://www.orchardhouseheirlooms.net/ survival seeds Christian-homesteaders/ biblical survival -- eastern Washington Katy - where in eastern Washington were you?
